| If you know of any preschooler who will be coming to Hiddenite School in the Fall and did not attend our preschool screening, please encourage them to contact our school as soon as possible so that we can be sure that they have all that is needed for them to be able to start school. This will also enable the parents to receive valuable information regarding our staggered enrollment in which the kindergarteners come on certain days during the first week of school. |
| All parents are encouraged between now and the time your child starts kindergarten in the Fall, to spend extra time with them working on... Learning to write their name (upper case letter only at the beginning) Cutting Holding a pencil/crayon correctly Also encourage your child to... Lengthen their attention span by coloring and working at a task until completed The staff at Hiddenite School looks forward to meeting you and working with your child. We feel that Hiddenite School has a child-centered environment and a lot to offer every student. |
