Luckily, most of the animals were spared in this eruption.
This one was made of homemade clay and erupted over and over again!
Some of us created our volcanoes at home and others of us made them at school. We used baking soda and vinegar to create a chemical reaction. They were like real volcanoes because of the unpleasant smell, and because they erupted. However, they were unlike real volcanoes in even more ways. We wrote about those differences in our Science journals.
We had a variety of volcanoes. The students got creative in the building of these. We had all shapes, sizes and themes.
VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS!
This  was a Madagascar volcano! Many of the animals did not make it.
