Jackson Fitch Duo
Elisabeth Jackson and Katherine Fitch formed the Jackson Fitch Duo in 2003 at the University of Western Ontario to fulfill a chamber music credit for their respective Bachelor of Music Performance degrees.  While at UWO, they benefited from the coaching of harpist Lori Gemmell, flutist Fiona Wilkinson, and collaborative music specialist John Hess.  They have continued this collaboration and now perform for weddings, receptions, and dinners in the York Region as well as the Greater Toronto Area.  While they specialize in Classical repertoire, they are equally at home with Mediaeval, Celtic, and contemporary. They have performed for the Aurora Art Gala, Aurora Sr. Centre Grand opening; they were featured at the York Region Bridal Show, and have appeared on York Region Daytime TV.  Volunteer concerts performances include Sunnybrook Hospital Veteran�s Wing evening concert series, two mini concerts for Southlake Health Centre, and the York Region craft show. Elisabeth Jackson

Elisabeth is from Newmarket, Ontario and attended the University of Western Ontario for music performance in flute.  During her studies, she performed with such ensembles as the UWO Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Early Music Ensembles, and Woodwind Quintet in addition to her solo performances. 

Elisabeth received a Bachelor of Music in Honours Performance in the spring of 2005.  After graduation, she taught privately in Newmarket, and performed with the Jackson Fitch Duo, while studying in Toronto.

She is completed her Masters in Music Performance in Manchester UK with renowned flute pedagogue Peter Lloyd.  She performed with the Symphony Orchestra and the Opera Orchestra with whom she has completed a 10-show run of the opera The Cunning Little Vixen.

She is currently Freelancing and teaching in the North York region of Ontario.
Katherine Fitch

Katherine Fitch hails from Riverview, New Brunswick. She began studies on the Celtic harp at age thirteen; three years later she moved to classical pedal harp and seriously began to pursue her childhood dream of being a musician.  While still in High School, she began to freelance and perform for community functions.  She played with the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra for their 1999-2000 season, and appeared with the Fredericton Chamber Players in their 1999 presentation of The Nutcracker Suite.

In 2000, Katherine headed to the University of Western Ontario, in London ON, with the Von Kuster Music Faculty Scholarship and a NB Arts Board Scholarship.  While in London, she performed professionally with the London Youth Orchestra, London Community Orchestra, the International Symphony Orchestra, and the highly acclaimed Amabile Singers.  She graduated in October 2004 receiving a Bachelor of Music in Honours Performance with distinction.

After graduaing she studied with world-renowned harpist Judy Loman through the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto while freelancing solo and as part of the Jackson Fitch Duo.
