Mankind and gods Smell of burnin’ flesh As I think of the eternal clash On the thought I blush As the years dump in flush The gods amongst themselves dribble And mankind, becomes a thing so trivial So we will be extinct, like dinosaurs And gods will perish leaving us sore. Eaten by the Noah’s flood And gods love our flesh and blood And if they want us to sacrifice mankind is lost into a crevice Who knows what’s in our fate And when we will be, with gods, on a date At the end, kiss the earth goodbye And yet they claim gods are virtuous and man is sly And these are aesthete’s flaws Since when he thought gods have claws As I think of the eternal clash As the years roll by in a flash. |
