Today is Saturday, November 20. Harold remains strong. I have decided to wait to visit until Wednesday, when I can stay more than one day. The trip for me is over three hours each way, and I've been feeling a bit drained lately. The upcoming holidays are already hard for all of us, but I am eternally grateful and thankful that I'll be spending Thanksgiving with Harold and I even hope to watch the Macy's Day Parade with Harold in his room. May you all be blessed this Thanksgiving holiday, and I know I speak for the entire Kennel family when I say thank you for all your many prayers and kind deeds these past few months. Let's concentrate on all of our blessings this holiday season and remember that we have much to be thankful for.

Today is Wednesday, November 17. I have added a guest book to this web site and would really enjoy knowing your name and what state you reside in. I'm hoping this new message area will be a wonderful tool for all of Harold's friends and family to communicate with one another. Feel free to leave messages in the guest book for family members or friends who you know check this site regularly. Maybe all of us need a place to jot down our feelings too. I hope you'll make use of this area and come back to the site to view what others comment. Also, if you care to send e-mail to Harold, you can still do that via my e-mail address, [email protected] as I'll be visiting Harold on Sunday and will be reading him more e-mails. Blessings to you all, and have a lovely week.

Today is Tuesday, November 16. Harold is able to write his name, and he is also learning to walk a bit farther every day. He was walking outdoors with assistance yesterday. I will be able to visit him on Sunday, but will hopefully hear more good news before then.

Today is Monday, November 15. Harold is beginning to eat on his own and remains full of energy. He is quite animated and very talkative. This is a common phase recovery patients go through. Harold continues to make improvements in his speech therapy lessons and attends a special vision therapy session every Tuesday. I'll know more soon. Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers.
