Today is Monday, April 3. Harold is getting a bit better. I'm told by my mother that his mind is a little more alert, but that along with that, he's very easily discouraged, perhaps because he's realizing more and more how far he still has to go. I am also told that he has made at least one visit to the high school where he taught up until the accident. I think he attended some of the classes he taught in the past, and had a chance to say hello to several students, friends and colleagues. He also has gone on quite a few trips with some of the local residents, just to ride along and accompany them on a few routine tasks. All of this is very good therapy for Harold, and we all hope and pray he continues to recover. I will make a trip down to visit him in the next few weeks, and continue to post updates as I receive them. Please continue to remember the Christopher Hapeman family. Christopher is a ten-year-old boy from upstate New York who has been in a coma since January, 2000. His parents have no medical insurance and need our prayers.
