BIOGRAPHY |
|
|
|
Harold K. Chandler was born in Northwest, Washington, D.C. where he grew up in the Takoma neighborhood.� His parents, Jimmie and Velma Chandler, moved from West Point, Mississippi to Washington where they raised their three children. |
|
|
|
Harold attended DC Public Schools through grade 6 before attending� junior high at the John Nevins Andrews School in Takoma Park, Maryland.� While a high school student� at Takoma Academy, he began to study voice under Jon Gilbertson and performed at many school events there and at his home church, The First Church of Seventh-day Adventists in Washington, D.C. |

|
While completing his BBA in Business Management at LaSierra University, he studied voice under the late Wilbert Howard.� Harold later completed an Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Maryland Campus. |
|
|
|
Harold resides in Howard County, Maryland with his wife, Swinitha and two children, Jasmine and Ian. He has worked in higher education and non-profit finance for 13 years and he remains active in music and communications with the ministries of Reaching Hearts International. |
|
|
|
WORSHIP SERVICES |
|
|
|
Harold does not charge to perform for regular worship services.� He does accept donations toward travel expenses especially if you are distant from the Laurel Area. |
|
|
|
WEDDINGS |
|
|
|
Harold performs a wide array of romantic and sacred songs appropriate for weddings.� He will work with you or your coordinator to choose the songs most appropriate for your ceremony. |
