Tuesday, January 2, 2001 ***

Well, it's suddenly New Years Eve in Harmony. Lots of cute Theresa and Ethan scenes today. Hecuba's Ravens reek havoc on Harmony, mainly the Bennett household. Rebecca finds the the proof she needs to be Mrs. Crane.

Hecuba is brewing over her caldron. She sends out a Raven.  Meanwhile Tabitha and Timmy are trying to leave Harmony but decide that there is no use and hope to survive Hecuba's wrath. Tabby fears the worse. The sky turns black and cloudy and they see the Raven. Tabby say that the Raven in an omen.

The Bennett's are decorating for New Years Eve. TC & Eve show up and they comment about the sky. TC says maybe there is some freaky storm coming in (boy, he doesn't know how right he is...). They go in and continue to decorate. The Raven shows on the windowsill. Grace says that the bird is staring at Charity. Charity and the bird have a staring contest. The bird flies away (haha Charity won!). Charity says that she has a feeling that they are all in danger and that tonight will be the worst New Years Eve Harmony's ever seen. Meanwhile Tabby and Timmy are snooping outside the window. Miguel asks Charity if she is having premonitions (geez, I don't know Miguel...). Grace tells Sam that she also is having bad feeling about tonight. Jessica is online and calls everyone over. She says she was looking up everyone's new years horoscopes. She says she stumbled upon something. She reads something that says 2001 harbors a fight between good and evil and the fight is center in the unlikely town of Harmony on the east coast. Outside Tabby agrees (those are some thin windows) and Hecuba who is watching in her mirror agrees also.  A raven flies though and breaks the window and dies. Tabby says death is coming. Jessica crosses herself. Kay shows up from upstairs after hearing the broken window. Reese shows up and he is all cut up. He talks about the birds everywhere. They hear the birds. Hecuba is still watching and says that the whole Bennett clan is doomed. They look outside the window and see all of the birds on the electrical pole. TC yells that it is going to break. The run for cover and the pole falls and comes into the house along with the birds. Meanwhile Timmy and Tabby run home and Timmy has a bird stuck to him. He runs around and Tabby comes after him with a broom. You can hear Tabby beating off the bird (LMAO!!!!!). The birds reek havoc in the Bennett house. It seems that the birds have left. Sam lights a candle. The birds are all shadows now. Charity sees a demon that looks like a Pterodactyl than sees Hecuba who tells her more is coming. Charity screams.

Pilar questions Theresa's laptop and gives her the same old "You'll ruin Ethan's life" speech.  Theresa says her laptop is safe in Ivy's room. She admits to scanning the papers onto her laptop, but assures no one will go near her laptop. Pilar is POed and tells Theresa to delete the file. 

Ethan thanks Luis for the blessing. Luis asks what the Cranes will do when Theresa will move in. He asks if she will get the respect she deserves. Ethan assures him yes and he will protect him. Luis say that Alistair and Julian will stop at nothing to end their relationship, Sheridan agrees.  Sheridan brings up hers and Luis's relationship to him as well. Luis says that they will be diabolical. Ethan objects and Luis brings up his dad. Ethan says he still has no proof. Luis ends it. Ethan says that he has to leave. Apparently they are having a small New years Eve party at the Mansion. He leaves. They notify Sheridan that she will be released that evening. She and Luis decided to go to the cottage to celebrate New Years Eve.  Outside the room Ethan tells Theresa that he is taking her to the Mansion tonight for a formal New Years Eve party. Theresa says she has nothing formal to wear (BS, I've seen that girls wardrobe wear your prom dress). He says not to worry, she will be his wife and she will be a Crane and she will be treated like one. A women shows up with a few dresses to choose from. She's all excited. Ethan invites Pilar as well . She refuses at first, but he says she will be an honored guest. 

Ivy asks Gwen why she doesn't want her to go look for Rebecca. Gwen denies that something is going on. Gwen's cell phone rings. It's Rebecca calling from the front of Theresa's laptop, she says that she is close to finding out Ivy's secrets. She says to keep stalling Ivy. Gwen hangs up. Ivy is suspicious. Gwen says that she is depressed. Ivy continues to comfort her. Ivy says that she has to get ready for the party that they are having and tells her that Ethan is bringing over Theresa. She invites Gwen, but understands why she wouldn't want to come. Gwen tries to keep her but Ivy says that they'll talk tomorrow. and she leaves the room. Meanwhile, Rebecca has found the file and is about to open it as she hears Ivy outside the door. Rebecca hides under the bed as Ivy dresses for the party. Ivy goes into her closet and Rebecca sneaks out to get the laptop and is caught by Ivy before she can get her hands on it. Ivy asks her hwy she's in her room. Rebecca says she want to bury the hatchet and let bygones be bygones. Ivy wonders why she's being so nice seeing as she was so pissed that Ethan chose Theresa over her daughter. Rebecca says that they will forget about it all. They leave the room and Ivy tells Rebecca that she can sleep with Julian all she wants but she will never give up the title of Mrs. Crane. Ivy leaves and Rebecca says that once she has the proof she needs she'll have Julian, money, and the power. Rebecca goes back into the room and finds the file.

Julian is still on the phone with Alistair. Julian says that they can't kill Luis because of the media attention. Alistair agrees. They know that Sam will be after them. Alistair calls the Lopez-Fitzgerald family a thorn in his side and it is time to remove the thorn.

A very dressed up Ethan, Theresa, and Pilar arrive at the mansion. Gwen hides behind the Christmas tree and say that she cannot face Theresa the "gold digger". The maid comes down to take their coats. Pilar says she will do it herself, but Ethan insists that she is a guest and is not on the clock. Pilar tells Theresa to go upstairs and erase the files. She tries to but Ethan tells he she is no working tonight either. Julian strolls down the stairs and thinks to himself "Has the world gone mad? Since when does the help play dress up?" (LMAO!!!!) Julian greets Pilar and Theresa. He says he was going to have the Burger Barn cater the party but they were all booked up and that they will have to settle for caviar instead. Gwen who is still hiding behind the trees says "good one Julian." Ethan pulls Julian aside and berates him for saying that and that Theresa and Pilar are now a part of the family. Ivy comes don stairs and greets them as well and comments on how lovely the two look. She welcomes them to the family. Pilar tells Ivy she knows Julian will not let it happen. Gwen sneaks out of the house and goes to the window and watches from the outside. Alistair calls and wants to be put on speaker phone. He says he wants to speak to Theresa. He asks her is because she is wearing Ethan's ring if she feel that she is entitled to the Crane privileges. Gwen says "You tell her Alistair." Theresa is speechless as Alistair welcomes her to the family and tells her that they will be building them an Estate after the wedding. Gwen looks on and gets very upset. Ethan and Theresa hug and Ethan says it is time for the countdown. They count down, Theresa kisses her mom and than she and Ethan go at it. Julian looks disgusted, but Ivy says she is happy that Ethan is happy with Theresa and she is happy that he and Alistair have lived up to their end of the bargain. Ethan takes them outside for a firework display that he did especially for Theresa. Theresa says nothing and no one can come between them. Gwen is in the bushes upset that she is alone and hope her mother finds what she needs to get Ethan back. Julian is back inside and ask Alistair what is going on and Al says that it was all an act, he says he needs to keep his friends close and his enemies closer and he is working on figuring out a plan.

Luis and Sheridan share New Years together with champagne in the cottage. They watch the fireworks and tell each other how happy there are together.
