I am starting to get antsy about all of the fall TV shows.  The season finales in May were so intense, surprising, and down-right painful to watch.  The cliffhangers the writers are putting us through are just too much.  Whatever happened to ending a season on a note of closure, ready to start anew in September?  Three-month cliffhangers are just too much to take.  And for that matter, they aren't even three-month breaks anymore.  Every year it seems like the TV season ends sooner and starts up later than the year before.  The shows that I'm hyperventilating over are mainly "Friends" and "Alias", yet it seems like almost every show I watched this past year ended with my stomach tied up in knots.  But for all my complaining about summer TV, it hasn't all been bad.  I've been able to avoid reruns this summer by watching shows like "Houston Medical" and "American Idol" and I have to say, I've been thouroughly entertained.

If I had one million dollars:

* I would pay off my college loans.
* I would travel to Europe or Australia and live there for at least a year.
* I would live in Manhattan NY for at least six months.
* I would be able to afford a plane ticket to France to be able visit my friend, Elysia, who will be studying abroad there for almost a year.
* I would pay off my mom's house mortgage.
* I would buy my mom a hot-tub.
* I would get cable.
* I would go visit my Uncle, Aunt and cousins in Oregon.
* I would buy the car I want... A Jetta, or some other European car.
* I would pay for my Grandfather to have in-home-nurse care.
* I would give $ to pediatric AIDS and cancer charities.
* I would work for a non-profit agency and not have to worry about a pay check.
* I would pay off some of my dad's credit card debt.... I know he's "in the red", even if he doesn't talk about it.
* I would give $ to my church.
* I would buy a new computer and DVD player.
* I would buy each of my friends at least one expensive gift that they REALLY want but could never afford.
* I would have the wedding of my dreams.
* I would invest the rest of the $.... But not in the Stock Market... It's not very trust worthy these days.
