07/17/02: I just finished my Summer I history class. I made an "A", too! So, now I am in my Summer II class. It's so boring, but at least it's not a writing component class. No huge research paper. Just lots of reading. Summer in Austin is turning out ok for the most part. It can be lonely at times, but I've got a few friends here that I've enjoyed hanging out with. Sometimes I wish I could get over my fear of driving. Life would be so much less complicated that way. News on the grad school front: I've pretty much resolved to take a year off. I don't know what I'll be doing during that time, but that will all work itself out later.
04/28/02: Wesley's first Spring Formal was last night. I had a lot of fun. I completely makes up for "THE DISASTER" - A.K.A. my Senior Prom. I actually got to dance with a few guys, which was nice. It was great dressing up and hanging out with all of my friends. With them, it doesn't matter how much of an idiot I look like on the dance floor.
Oh, I just found out the pastor of the church I attend in Austin is moving to another church at the end of May. I'm not too happy about that. I've really gotten to like her and her style of preaching.
04/15/02: To go to grad school or to not go to grad school? That is the question. I am pondering the possibility of ending the academic chapter of my life at UT's graduation ceremonies next May. I'm burnt out already. I can't imagine how burnt out I will be after 10 more months of school with no extended breaks. What would I do if I didn't go get certified to practice Audiology? I haven't a clue. I don't even know what my talents are. If anyone has thoughts, feel free to share.
04/12/02: Exciting news -- My mom sent some of my old formal dresses in the mail yesterday. My prom dress still fits....barely, but ya know, all that matters is that I can squeeze into it and still look like a "sexy mama" (inside joke between me and Carolyn).
04/07/02: It seems that my friend, Scott, has put a link to my webpage on his own domain. It put the pressure on me to actually update the site. I'll try and be better about keeping it up to par. There are worse things that I could be doing when procrastinating from homework.
