It's not easy being a cold-hearted bastard. I wasn't always that way, but some may disagree. I was born and given the name Julian Alistair Crane on July 13, 19---well the year isn't important. The only thing about my age that you or anyone else needs to know is that I'm a young, potent, sex machine. My Father, Alistair Crane has always prided himself on power and money. We Cranes have owned most of Harmony for centuries. That fact has gotten us into a lot of trouble. Or rather, it's the fact that we stole a lot of that land that gave us power. I have many enemies due to this act. One, in particular, is TC Russell. I guess I shouldn't say that the reason he hates me is because of what my ancestors did. He hates because of something I did to him.

I met TC Russell back in my days as a tennis star. I would play at the Country Club and TC was nothing but a low-life common man. His Father had worked at the Country Club serving the rich and TC followed in his footsteps. He began playing tennis out there and we found ourselves competing on several occasions. I always got first place. Well, that's pretty obvious, considering I'm a Crane. But TC always came in as a close second. I knew that one day he would beat me and I couldn't let that happen. There was a big tournament to be held and both of us signed up to compete in it. I always tried to get along with him, even though I couldn't stand the man. Those were back in my days where I didn't stand up for what I believed in. There's no way I would let that happen now. If I don't like something, I make sure I make it right and get my way. I suppose that the day of the tournament was my first step. I caused a little "accident" to occur so TC would get hurt. I almost felt sorry for the man. His knee was pretty torn up, so naturally, I won the tournament and TC couldn't compete. He was furious and he accused me of causing the accident. Of couse I denied it and no one could prove a thing. We went our separate way and I didn't speak to him again until my dear wife had us mingling with the locals.

My marriage to Ivy was a marriage of convenience. Her Father was the Governor of Harmony at the time and I was an eligible bachelor. My family wanted a say in the Government in Harmony and Ivy's Father needed to be reelected. We made a little agreement that would ensure both families to get what they wanted. I would marry Ivy and that would connect both families together. It would give Father a say in politics and Ivy's Father got more power to be reelected. My Father arranged our marriage to take place immediately. I remember the day I met her. It was actually on the day of our wedding. Come to think of it, it was when she walked down the aisle. When she lifted up her vail, I could see the sadness in her eyes. She didn't want to marry me, but she did. I almost felt sorry for her, but I changed my mind when I got a glimpse of her hot little body. She was so young and innocent and full of fire. She just needed a man, like me, to ignite it. Apparently, Ivy didn't know the reason behind our wedding until that night. I was talking to my Father and she overheard us discussing it. She fled from the house in tears and didn't return until the morning. I never did find out where she went. After a while, she finally gave into me and we made love for the first time. It was like pure magic. We created our son, Ethan, that night. Ivy and I only made love a few times in our marriage. Almost every time, a child was created. First Ethan, than Gregory, followed by our daughters, Alaetra and Jaden. I don't really know if I've ever loved Ivy, but I am definately attracted to her. She kicked me out of her room and her bed a few years ago and won't even let me touch her. It drives me crazy! I'm a passionate man and I have desires. So I sleep around a little. I'm only human and what should it matter! Ivy doesn't love me anyways. She has caught me on more than one occasion. Oh well. There's not a damn thing she can do about it. I can sleep around all I want to, but she can't. If she does and I catch her, I will throw her out of this house so fast and her precious Ethan will hate her. Speaking of Ethan, I wonder what it is about that boy that makes him so important to Ivy. I'll find out one of these days. But my main concern at the moment is Sheridan and Eve Russell.

My younger sister, Sheridan, has always been a little overdramatic. A lot of that is mine and my Father's fault. When she was a little girl she had a nightmare about a bloody sheet and a body and killing someone. Well, that's what we tell her it was. In reality, there was a man at the house that night, but she didn't kill him. My Father did. She had merely witnessed it and my Father was afraid that she would tell someone. He thought it was best to make her think that she did it and then make her believe it was a dream. She was a vulnerable young girl, so she was willing to believe anything we had to tell her. The next day we sent her off to Paris to a psychiatric hospital. Father's always making me do things to mess up other people's lives. Just like the Luis imposter. I didn't want to break Sheridan's heart, but I had no choice. Oh well. You've got to do what you've got to do. Oh yes, I forgot mention the lovely Eve.

I met Eve Russell at a night club where I used to go occasionally. When I first saw her, she took my breath away. I think I fell in love with her instantly, though I wouldn't have admitted that to myself back then. When she sang that first song to me, I knew I had to have her. That night, I took her back to a hotel room and we made love for the first time. That wasn't the last time, either. We began seeing each other. Most of the time we would just have sex. We didn't really talk much at all. We just filled each other's desires and didn't need words to communicate. On one night, I brought a camera to our secret rendezvous and took pictures of us together. She looked so beautiful in them. I wish I still had them to look at. Sadly, our little romance, if you want to call it that, ended when she met someone new. I wasn't happy and I protested. But I had made Eve a little stronger and she put her foot down. She left me and moved on with her life. Imagine my surprise when she showed up back in my life years later married to my enemy, TC. Oh well. Life sure is ironic. Now that the bird statue has resurfaced, maybe there's a chance at our love after all. If not love, than maybe a little fling. I think I need a brandy.
