Chapter 1

Sailing along on a boat just trying to relax. She thinks about her long lost love and begin to fantasize. "Oh, how I’ve longed to be in your arms." She moaned incredibly loud to herself. It’s a good thing no one is around to hear it. She had to get away from the madness. She looked at the gracious sky and inhaled deeply. "I’m coming back for you my beloved Sam." She turned around when she heard someone’s voice. "Ivy? Thank you for taking me along this trip with you. I appreciate it." Pilar honestly replied. "Pilar, no need." She waved her hand instantly. "You are my confidant and my best friend. It’s time we settle back on shore. We must see what’s going on in Harmony." She delightfully smiled.

Pilar shook her head and laughed. The boat arrived at the docks. Pilar and Ivy grabbed their things and are ecstatic that they are home. "Do you want to come over to my house, Ivy?" Pilar offered. "I-I don’t want to intrude on you and your family, Pilar. You have a nice night." Ivy sorrowfully responded. "I’m not taking no for an answer. You are coming with me that is final." Pilar wasn’t going to take no for an answer. "All right, all right. I’m coming." They both laughed and walked their way to Pilar’s house.

Pilar and Ivy arrived at her house. "Why is it so dark in here, Pilar?" Ivy glanced at the house strangely. "I don’t know, but we’re going to find out." Pilar didn’t like the look of things and opened the door. She turned on the lights after she has stepped in and Ivy is right behind her. "Surprise!!!" Everyone yelled. Pilar jumped out of her skin. "Oh my! I didn’t expect all of this!" Pilar is stunned and cried with happy tears. Ivy remained quiet.

"Mama, we did this all for you. Welcome home Mama and Ivy." Paloma replied sweetly. "Gracias, Mija." She hugged Paloma and stared at the room in total awe. Ivy went into the kitchen because no one greeted her back from their trip, except for Paloma. She felt utterly alone. She didn’t feel like socializing and stayed in the kitchen for serenity. Oh how I wish that Sam is here with me. I miss him so much. She thought. She heard the door cracked and she glanced at the feet and looked upon his face. She couldn’t believe it! Is she dreaming? It’s Sam Bennett staring at her. "Oh Sam!" She hugged him tenderly. "Oh how I’ve missed you so?" She gripped on him tightly. "Ivy, get off of me! My wife is here!" He whispered.

"Sam, don’t you miss me?" She ignored his last statement. "I don’t! Now go away!" He roared and pushed her off of him. He walked out and held onto Grace. Ivy observed the loving couple from afar. She envied Grace a lot because she has something that Ivy wants. Sam. Ivy exhaled sweetly and took a sip of water from her glass. "Some way, some how I will get my Sam back and he’s going to love me!" She promised herself.

It’s been three weeks and Ivy stared at everything in her house. Since Julian isn’t around anymore and Ethan doesn’t even talk to her. After the incident of Julian learning that Ethan wasn’t his son. He went ballistic. But Ivy knew better, she wasn’t going to let the Cranes take her down the drain. So she had to take care of Julian. She relished the moment by relaxing and casting thoughts about Sam. "Oh Sam . . ." She moaned. "Oh how I ache to have you." She soughed in agony and turned to her side. "Some way, some how, I will get you, Sam. I will . . ." She laid there in a trance as her eyes grew heavy and she fell asleep.

Grace kissed Sam. "Oh Sam, I have some news." She puckered him once more. "What is it, honey?" He touched her lips softly. Grace beamed away as her cheeks turned crimson. I get to travel with my friends. We’re having a baking contest and we get to be everywhere and have our desserts renowned to everyone." She glistened as Sam pulled her into his courageous hugs and didn’t let her go. "How long will it be?" He wondered. Grace grew silent and finally faced him. "It’ll be for two weeks." She beamed again. "Whew! For a minute there, I thought you were going to say for a month or two." He chuckled. "Don’t speak too soon, Mr. Bennett, we never know how well our baking contest will turn out." She pointed at him and grinned.

"When are you leaving?" Sam has became a little concerned. "Today." She told him. "Today? But Grace, I thought you, me, and the kids are going to celebrate with the Russells?" grumbled Sam. "I know, honey, but they want to do this right away." She shook her head. "Besides, it’s only two weeks and it’ll be all right. You and the girls will be fine." Grace patted his shoulder. "I assure you." She caressed his back. "Okay, but don’t be away for too long, please give me a call once you arrive there? Okay?" He touched her softly.

"You got it." Grace went upstairs and have her bags already packed and ready to go. She loaded up in the van and kissed her husband and hugged her kids goodbye. The girls cried when Grace left. Kay and Jessica went in the house and Sam followed them. "Girls, I will take you to the Russells. Now don’t get into trouble and behave. Is that clear?" He lectured smoothly. "Yes, we’re clear." They answered. Sam chuckled and drove to the Russells’ house. He waved goodbye at the girls and took off.

Sam drove around and looked a little disappointed. He soughed and sat on the bench. Ivy looked around and she saw Sam. "This must be my chance!" She whispered to herself. "Hello Sam." She went up to him and sat next to him. "Ivy, what do you want?" He irritably replied. "I’m just speaking to you, why so defensive?" She blinked away. "I’m sorry, Ivy, it’s just I don’t need you meddling in my life. I have enough as it is and I’d appreciate it if you just stay away from me." stated Sam in a firm manner. "I get the picture, Sam. May I ask you this?" She placed one hand on her hip.

He sighed and glinted at her. "What Ivy?" She could tell he was short of patience and she wasn’t about to let the opportunity slip through her fingers. "Do you ever think about me?" she pouted out her lip. "About us? About what we had?" She fumbled a bit. "Ivy, this is irrelevant and I rather not discuss this!" He snarled. "Why not, Sam? Don’t you ever wonder of what our life would have been if things didn’t happened the way that it did?" She questioned some more. "Ivy, what are you trying to do? Try me?" He roared.

"No! Sam! Just tell me something, even if it’s one little word." She muttered. "You wanna hear it? Fine, here it is . . . get out of my face!" snapped Sam as he started walking away. Ivy was crushed but she kept her dignity. She wasn’t about to give up. No way. She isn’t about to throw in the towel until she knows for certain that her and Sam are resolved. "Sam, I want to work things out between us." She admitted. "What?! You can’t be serious?! After the stunt you have pulled?! I don’t think so! Luckily, my wife didn’t walk out on me and called it quits, when we’ve learned that Ethan is my son!" He furrowed his brow.

"Sam, I said I was . . ." He intruded on her sentence. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, you said you were sorry! Sorry doesn’t cut it! Because Ethan and I have lost too much time already! Get the hell out of my way! I have better things to do!" He glared at her and left. Ivy didn’t shed a tear, she couldn’t. She felt it was best if she has given Sam time. Maybe he’ll come around. She wasn’t about to surrender yet. She followed him irregardless of his crude instructions.

She watched how he went to the river and sat on the grass as the sun rays shines on his hair. She touched him gently. "Sam?" She whispered. "Ivy! Dammit! I thought I’ve told you to stay the hell away from me!" He grimaced. "I know, but we need to talk. I want to explain to you on why I did the things that I did. It was for a reason." she lowered her eyes.

"Ivy, I don’t want to hear it, if you can’t be honest to me! Why even talk to me?!" fumed Sam. "But-but . . . Sam." She stuttered. "Don’t but Sam me! Ivy, if you are trying to hurt me? Forget it!" He clamored. Ivy’s tears glittered in the sun and she got up to leave. "I’m sorry that I’ve disturbed you." She whispered. "I’d never meant for it to happen." She didn’t look back and trailed away. Sam thought to himself for a minute and started to grumble. "Damn." He muttered. "Ivy, why did you have to do this to me?" He said to himself and stayed out there as night begins to fall and he fell fast asleep.

Chapter 2

Ivy hasn’t seen Sam in a while from the last time they have spoken. She hated the fact that they left on bitter terms. She is working on the idea of getting Sam back into her life. The question is will her plan succeed? She did her last touch ups on her makeup and gave herself a pat on the back. "You look lovely today, Ivy." She told herself. "And Sam will want you back." She flashed an evil grin and made it to her doctor’s appointment. She overheard Eve talking to Grace on the phone. "Grace, you’re coming back in three months? I thought you’ve said this trip was only for two weeks?" Eve asked dryly.

"I know, Eve. But I didn’t intend for this bake sale to go off extremely well. I will call Sam tonight and tell him that my trip is extended." Grace replied. "Good luck, he’s going to be one miserable camper." Eve chuckled and hanged up. Ivy rushed to her doctor’s office before Eve could see her. So Grace is not coming back until three months later . . . this is an opportunity for me to bring Sam back into my life. Hopefully, he’ll be merciful on me. Ivy smiled to herself. Before she knew it, she bumped into Sam. "Hello Sam, I didn’t see you . . . there." She paused. "Nice to see you too, Ivy." He narrowed his eyes at her.

"Hope to see you sometime soon." Ivy flirted casually. "Whatever." He grumbled under his breath. "Sam, whether you know it or not, I got a very good feeling you will need me more than you think." She is delighted that things might be going her way if she play her cards right.

Sam saw Luis standing over there in the waiting room. "What’s going on, buddy?" Sam beamed. "Hey Sam, Sheridan is giving birth to our third child!" He explained. "Then, what are you waiting for, Luis? Go to your wife!" He cheered on. "I will, I’m just waiting for them to let me know if it’s okay or not to go in." The nurse walked up to them. "Mrs. Lopez-Fitzgerald told me to tell you that she needs you so to speak." She glinted at him. Luis jumped for joy and gave Sam a hug and followed the nurse.

Sam shook his head and he received a phone call. He answered the phone and it was Grace on the other end. He had listened to her carefully and sadly hanged up after she said goodbye. After Ivy had her examination, she fixed her eyes on Sam. Just when she was about to leave. Sam came up to her and pulled her to the side. "Ivy, can we talk for a minute?" He softly responded. "Sure. What about?" Ivy blankly stared at him. "I wanted to say I’m sorry for yelling at you and I didn’t mean to humiliate you." He confessed as Ivy’s eyes grew wider with curiosity. "Why the sudden change?" Ivy shrugged slightly.

"I admit I was wrong and I had no right . . . to treat you the way that I did. Would you like to out for a ride with me?" Sam suggested. "Yes, I would love to." She instantly remarked. "Great. Shall we?" He held out his arm to her and escorted her out the hospital. Sam closed the passenger’s door and buckled up as soon as he got in. Ivy dreamt of this and her dream is finally coming to past. She’s not going to push her luck but she will make a little effort by nudging some thoughts into his mind.

"How’s Ethan?" He started the conversation. "I wouldn’t know. He hardly speaks to me but Theresa told me he is doing exceptionally well." She tried to smile nevertheless, Sam knew better. He could tell she is quite sadden by their son’s reaction towards her and made little attempt to make amends with her.

Sam sighed a bit and reached for her hand. "Has he made any progress with you?" She wanted to stop talking about herself. "Some, but not enough. Ivy, you know this wall between us and Ethan will not stand forever." He pointed out. "I know that. It’s so complicated to make him see from my standpoint." She flustered somewhat. "I know, but you got to try harder, Ivy. You got to make him understand." he sagely advised. "How will I make him understand when he can’t possibly bear to stare at me!?" She blurted out.

"I don’t know." He mumbled. "I wouldn’t want to press my luck just yet. Ethan is very stubborn, there’s a slight possibility he’ll come around." At least, he tried to sound half convincing. Ivy looked at the stars. "I guess, but there is nothing more disappointing than to see my own son despising me for what I have done. Not that I don’t blame him." She said out of self pity. "Ivy, you’re being way too hard on yourself. You got to give him time. Let it absorb through him and then see what will happen. Okay?" He lifted a brow at her.

"All right." She gave in. Deep down, she knows that Sam is precise about everything he has mentioned to her and she couldn’t deny it. Sam put the car in park and stepped out. He opened the door for Ivy. "Sam . . . where are we?" She said in total awe. "Remember? This used to be our favorite spot?" He held her hand. "Yes, I remember." She softly answered.

"I want to think upon good things . . . I want to know how you are doing now ever since Julian pulled the plug on himself." He replied out of sympathy. "Yea, such a tragedy." She hoarsely commented. "How are you holding up from it?" He wondered. "It’s been hard. Although, it’s not too rough. I’m trying to cope with living as a widow and learning to adjust with living alone." Her tear stained eyes glanced at him. "Is there anything I can do for you?" He offered. "I don’t want to be a bore to you, Sam. Certainly, you have your wife to go home to . . ." She let it slipped.

"Not anymore, I don’t." He griped. "What’s wrong, Sam?" Ivy coaxed him with her touch. "I don’t like to tell my business but Grace won’t be back in three months." He complained. "Really? Why won’t she be back?" Ivy queried. "She’s having this bake sale with the church women. They’re raising a lot of money for charities and upcoming events in Harmony." He sounded bored. "Now, I don’t have her to comfort me." Whether he knows it or not. He just invited temptation through his door. Ivy slyly smirked and is taking the opportunity to make it work. "Sam, I’m here whenever you need me." She told him. "Whenever you feel you want to talk. Just call me. I’m only a dial away." She laughed dryly.

"Thanks Ivy. I needed this. It’s not so bad after all, talking to you as a friend." He smiled and his words crushed her. "A friend?" She dryly asked. "Yes, I need someone to confide in." He explained. "I see." She whispered. "I’m your confidant." she gave a faux grin and turned to the river. "Ivy, did I say something to offend you?" Sam walked up to her and touched her arm gently. She shook her head immediately without letting her tears show.

She had too much pride in her to let him see her fall. On the contrary, Ivy is not a quitter. She finally faced him and watched his every move. She observed how his features are still comely as ever, the way she’d remembered it.

Sam seemed a tad puzzled. "Something wrong, Ivy?" Ivy dropped her bottom lip and finally responded. "I . . . uh. Was just contemplating . . . that’s all." She brushed it off. "Contemplating about what?" He dug deeper to find her answer. "About my son." She lied. "I told you, we’ll work on Ethan together. Okay?" He embraced her and rocked her in his arms. Ivy felt so safe in his arms and knowing she doesn’t want to let him go. Not now, not ever.

This is way too important for her to throw in the towel. Sam studied her eyes meticulously. In a flash, his lips touched her romantically. After the ardent kiss between them, they looked at one another in total astonishment and kissed again. Oh my, I can’t believe this is happening to me! Sam kissed me and I didn’t have to push the situation to make it proceed! I must use Ethan as a leverage and make sure that Sam will not abandon me. Devious thoughts entered her mind. Ivy knows now that Sam allowed for this to continue and he wanted it just as much. "Sam, what was that for?" She blinked at him.

"‘What was what for?’" He beamed. "I wanted to do it." He persisted with kissing her some more. Sam is determined to go further but something stopped him. "Sam, what did I do?" Ivy looked a little hurt and confused. "Nothing, Ivy, you didn’t do anything wrong. I can’t seem to contain myself." He brushed his lips on hers and seized the moment with his passion. Sam’s hand traveled down Ivy’s back after he disengaged her clothes. Ivy didn’t hesitate with removing his garment either. Sam’s hands roamed down to her skirt and maneuvered her panties away from her delectable body.

Sam grabbed her and placed her on top of him. "Ivy, I want this so much." He let out a guttural groan and he entered her as his shaft started speaking a universal language with her sweetness. She begged incredibly loud and asked for more. "Don’t stop, Sam. I want more." She pleaded and as they reached each other’s climax, the heat surged on to another level of sexual gratification. Her hips undulated with his as their sweet kisses indulged and enfolded each other tenderly for this engaging night.

Chapter 3

For three months Sam and Ivy been having an affair. Their last night ended yesterday. Now they must go back to the way their lives used to be and pretend the affair never happened. Unfortunately, Ivy isn’t going to let this go. Grace came home and Sam greeted her with opened arms. "Grace, I’ve missed you so much." He didn’t let go of her. Though, he feels guilty about cheating on Grace. Grace looked at the place and discerned that something isn’t right. She pulled back. "Are the girls okay?" She asked. "Yeah, they’re fine." He replied quietly. "Is something wrong, sweetheart?" Grace turned to him. "Wrong? No, it just feels so strange to be back at home after all that traveling I did." She beamed.

"Well, let me massage your feet? You deserve a break and I will give it to you." He insisted. "Sam, you are too much. I love you so." She pressed her hand on his face. "I love you very much as well." He replied and started to massage her feet. "Is that better for my beautiful wife?" He questioned. Grace nodded her head and begin to fall asleep. After that tiresome trip, she immediately closed her eyes and wanted to call it a night. Sam picked her up and carried her to bed.

Ivy hasn’t seen Sam within two months and wondered why he hasn’t returned any of her phone calls. It must be Grace! She’s come back! Damn her! For ruining my plans with Sam. I love him so much and I’m going to see him tonight. Her malevolent thoughts ascended even more. "There is no way in Hell I will let that naive, happy home maker of a wife destroy me and Sam." She stabbed the desk with her letter opener. Ivy was about to head out until she saw Sam standing in her door way. "Sam, what are you doing here?" She seemed surprised. "I came to see you." He pushed her back into the house and kissed her passionately. "Oh Sam, I’ve missed so much. Where have you been?" She moaned with delight as he turns her on by kissing her neck.

"My wife is home," he saw how her expression is changing. "But she’s having meetings with the church again and leaving me lonely at night." He sighed and his hands ran against her thighs. "God, you smell so good!" He admitted. "So beautiful. I’m yearning to be inside you. I’m at your command, tell me what to do." He pleaded. "Sam, you want to get naughty, then let’s go for it." He banged her against the wall as she wrapped her legs around his waist after they had displaced each other’s garment.

Her pelvis opened up for him to enter and to give her the satisfaction she has been yearning for. She wants him to quench her desire and give it like she wanted. Sam’s hardness erected and moved inside her, stroking her gently as she screams out sweetly for more. She can’t deny the intimacy they’ve shared. There is no way she is going to give it up, on the other hand, she wants to keep him away from Grace. The power is in her hands and she has the will to do what she pleases.

Sam obliged her with compassion and with every thrust he found himself liking it all over again like when they were younger. Except this time, it’s much better. Way better than before. All of the chemistry hasn’t left them and they hadn’t let all of the fire out or call it quits officially.

"Sam . . . I thought I would never see you again. Why did you come?" She held onto him firmly as he soothe her with his tender touch. "I couldn’t bear the thought of not seeing you again. I haven’t felt this alive." He conceded. "I know what you mean." She giggled and turned him on by adding some pressure of planting her hips on his and his shaft reached the core of her softness. She couldn’t control her ambition of wanting him and he couldn’t get rid of the urge that is bursting inside him. He pumped on her harder and couldn’t let go of her. After reaching each other’s climax, they’ve collapsed in each other’s arms. "That was wonderful!" Ivy said after breathing so hard.

The moment was finally over. Sam went upstairs to her room to go take a shower. Ivy followed him. "Mind if I join?" She whispered in a seductive tone. "Not at all." He replied. They took a steamy shower together and didn’t stop their torrid affair. After their shower of romance. Sam had to sit her down. "What’s going on, Sam?" She looked a little lost by his reaction. "Ivy, there’s something I need to tell you." He sat beside her. "O-okay. Like what?" She interrogated. Sam sighed heavily and responded. "Where should I start? It’s like this, we can’t see each other no more. Tonight was our last night. No more torrid affairs, no more seeing each other in secret. And no more talking to each other." he broke the news to her. It hit her so hard. Harder than she could ever imagine.

"It’s over? But Sam, you can’t say it’s over like that?!" Her voice tightened with anger. "Ivy, I’m afraid so. My wife is back and I can’t go on like this . . . she doesn’t deserve to be cheated on." He told her. "What about me? What do I deserve?! Doesn’t my feelings matter to you?!" She looked upset. "Ivy, that was then and this is now. We have to face reality. I shouldn’t have never allowed you into my heart for some fling." She stopped him in an abrupt way. "Fling?! Is that how you see it?!" She is more outraged than before.

"Ivy, what else would you call it?! I can’t do this to Grace and it’s time I’ve said goodbye." He narrowed his eyes at her. "I don’t want to say goodbye, Sam! You mean so much to me?!" She roared. "Don’t you yell at me, Ivy! I have to do what is right and we can’t continue this no matter how you view it!" He pointed out. "Don’t you patronize me!" She scowled. "I’ve been longing to have you, Sam and this is the repayment I get?! How in the hell you expect me to get over it just like that?! You know the fire isn’t out between us and don’t even pretend that it is. Then you’ll be deluding yourself!" She got up angrily as she puts on her clothes. "I’ll be deluding myself?! Ivy, you’re the one who is deluding yourself?! What the hell was I thinking?!" He asked aloud. "Why couldn’t I just control my horniness and leave it be?! But no! I had to give into temptation!" He is disappointed with himself.

"And how in the world do you think this is making me feel, Sam? Damn it all! All I want is you!" She pouted. "Ivy, get over it! It’ll just be a fantasy and I can’t hurt my wife anymore." He said out of regret. "News flash, Sam! You already did!" She reminded him. "I could care less of what you say right now, Ivy. It’s not how you envisioned it. We can’t be together no matter how you put it." He lectured. "I’m not about to throw my marriage out the window. Goodbye." He sternly stated and left. Ivy broke down in tears and never left her room.

Five months has passed and Grace and Sam are happier than ever. Nothing has intervened with their love and it’s stronger than ever. Grace woke up while Sam is sleeping. Grace answered the telephone. "Hello?" She answered groggily. "Would you like to know what your husband been doing while you were gone?" A hoarse voice replied. "Who is this?" Grace firmly queried. "Doesn’t matter, I know what your husband did while you were away." The evil voice snickered. "What did my husband do?" Grace is starting to lose her patience. Before she could get another answer the person on the other end has hung up.

Grace is upset by the disturbing phone from last night and she couldn’t it out of her head:

"Hello?" She answered groggily. "Would you like to know what your husband been doing while you were gone?" A hoarse voice replied. "Who is this?" Grace firmly queried. "Doesn’t matter, I know what your husband did while you were away." The evil voice snickered. "What did my husband do?" Grace is starting to lose her patience. Before she could get another answer the person on the other end has hung up.

"Grace, honey, are you alright?" Sam coaxed her gently. Grace didn’t hear him until he repeated himself once more. "What?" She finally answered. "Are you all right?" He asked again. "Yea, I’m fine. Just a little tired." She lied. "I’ll see you later, okay?" He kissed her goodbye as she gave him a faint smile. "Who could that person be? What could they want?" She frowned in concentration. She went to the front door and opened it. She saw a present sitting on her front porch. She closed the door and opened it. She saw Sam’s underwear with some satin panties beside it. Then she read the card. "This is what your husband been doing while you were away."

She looked confused and crushed. "What was Sam doing behind my back?! What the hell is going on here?!" She is burned emotionally and couldn’t stand the thought of what could’ve been happening while she was gone. Will she ever find out what Sam did?

Chapter 4

Grace is fumed about the card she received a while back and she never actually wiped it out of her head. Sam crept up from behind and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Sam, honey, what do you call yourself doing?" She beamed. "I just wanted to surprise my wife . . . is that such a bad thing?" He kissed her cheek passionately. "Sam, you are very bad. You know, I was thinking?" Sam interrupted her. "Like what sweetheart?" She sighed slightly. "We should get away." She suggested. "Get away? Really?" He sounded enthused. She nodded and broke free from his arms to go to the refrigerator. "Yes, Sam. I believe it’ll buy us some time to catch up and do the things we all wanted to do." She implied. "Oh I see, and I know exactly what you’re talking about." He inferred.

"Good for you, Sam. I’ve already made some reservations, no time to waste, go pack." She demanded playfully. "Pack?" He asked confoundedly. "Where are we going?" He queried while scratching his head. "That’s for me to know and for you to find out." She smiled foolishly. "Oh, you are so cold, Mrs. Bennett." He teased and pressed his lips on hers.

"Since I am ‘so cold’, Mr. Bennett, why don’t you come give me some heat? I’m freezing cold." She loved the way his arms snuggled around her waist. "You want to be warm, eh? Coming right up, Mrs. Bennett." He tickled her neck by kissing her tenderly as she didn’t refuse him. She was about to cave in but she resist. "All right, we can save this for later once we arrive at our trip." Grace touched his lips fervently.

Sam didn’t argue with Grace and went packing. He thought to himself as he started. I wonder what Grace is up to? What could she be hiding from me? I hope this will be worth my time. Because I feel really guilty for cheating on her and I want to make it up to her. I will give it all I got. I will let her know how much I love her and it will start today. He smiled to himself and finished stashing his clothes away in his suitcase. "Apparently, you’ve been prepared without my acknowledgment." Sam replied while descending the stairs. "Oh, yes. Sam, Eve promised that she will look after our children while we’re gone." Grace glanced at herself in the mirror. Sam placed his luggage in the foyer and took one last look at their house before they are ready to exit.

"Sam, I promise you, this will be a vacation you’ll never forget." She simply stated. "I sure hope not. I know without a doubt that I will have a good time with my beautiful wife." Sam kissed her cheek. Sam and Grace closed the door after them and didn’t waste any time to get to the airport. "Grace, where are we going? You never did tell me?" He wondered. "You’ll see." replied Grace laconically.

Sam didn’t know what Grace was up to but certainly he didn’t have to worry about anyone with the name, Ivy. Sam kicked back and relaxed as Grace stares outside the window as the plane takes off. Sam closed his eyes and begin daydreaming about Grace and his vacation. Grace knew exactly what his smile stands for. She knew he is contemplating about them and their trip. Unaware to the fact that Ivy is on the plane as well. Sitting way in the back. I can’t believe that I have found a way to wiggle my way back into Sam’s life. I will make sure he’ll fall in love with me. Sam will always love me. Ivy only thought of the impossible and never considered the effects if she actually follow through with this dastardly deed.

Ivy’s teeth clenched onto her shades and thought evilly. "Sam, you’ll be mine. I assure." Ivy whispered. Sam opened his eyes and smiled at Grace. "How was your nap, honey?" Grace held his hand. "It was nice, but . . . it could be better." He snickered. "Oh, I bet, Sam. You are pitiful." She giggled. "I hope not. I was really looking forward to make love to you throughout our vacation." Sam stroked her hair gently.

"Sam, you are truly a good man to me." Grace replied while looking into his eyes. "Believe me, Grace. I don’t deserve all of the credit." He felt bad for what he has done. "Quit being so modest, Sam, you know you deserve me." She pinched his arm. "If only that was true." He mumbled. "Don’t be such a tight ball, Sam. It’ll be all right. I promise you." She held on to his hand tightly.

"Yeah." He dryly remarked. Sam told Grace he had to go use the restroom and Grace kissed him. Sam walked to the restroom and inhaled deeply. "What am I going to do?" He frowned. "Grace must never know that I have cheated on her. Ivy means nothing to me. I hope Ivy has learned her lesson. I don’t want her around me and I don’t want her to be in my face. I regret the day I’ve slept with her." He grumbled.

Ivy eavesdropped on his soliloquy. His words simply devastated her and tormented her to think even worse. "I’ll show you, Sam! I’ll show you not to ever abandon me and think that my feelings doesn’t count. There is no way in Hell, I will let you get away with thinking that Grace will tend to believe that your marriage will remain rock solid." Ivy bitterly claimed.

"Damn you, Grace Bennett! Damn you!" She nearly roared. She heard Sam coming out and went to her seat without any delay. Sam seemed a bit flustered and kept quiet. "Sam, are you okay?" Grace observed his faint expression. "Yes, I’m fine. I just can’t believe that we will finally have quality time to ourselves." He smiled. "I’m glad that we’re concurring about this . . . I promise you that once we get to our destination, you’ll not regret or forget." She purred in his ear. "Grace, you are so naughty and I can not wait to see more of you being like this later on." He blew sweet kisses on her and didn’t want to hold back anymore.

Grace reminded him that they are in public as he agreed and kept his composure. "Oh Sam, the plane is almost landing. Ready?" She felt somewhat nervous, at the same time, she can be at ease because there is nothing to threaten her marriage.

Sam and Grace are in total awe when they have laid their eyes on their hotel room. "This is pure excellence. Grace, I owe you big time!" He picked her up and placed her on their bed. Not knowing that Ivy is watching them. She burns with fury. "Damn you, Grace! Damn you! I want you to rot in Hell for taking Sam away from me!" She griped and decided to take some action into her own hands. "Grace, it’s time for you to say goodbye."

Five hours later, Sam went out to buy Grace some very romantic aphrodisiacs for their secret rendezvous. Grace slipped into her sweet blue negligee and she faced the lights and wanted to dim them before Sam makes his entrance. Grace grimaced at the door. "That’s odd, I don’t remember leaving this door open. Maybe Sam forgot to close it after departing." She shrugged and shut it. Ivy stood from behind and began swinging the sledge hammer on Grace. "This is for abducting Sam from me! Die Grace Bennett! Die!" She fumed as Grace lays there helplessly. "Ivy, what . . ." Grace couldn’t finish her sentence. It was too late. Ivy kept striking at Grace like crazy and made sure that Grace is very well dead.

"No more!" Ivy yelled and left the revolting scenery. She stayed near just in case if Sam appeared and watch his precious Grace laying there for dead. Sam is in total disgust as he called the police and they told him that is dead. He cried out all of his tears. "How in the hell will I tell my children that their mother is . . . . dead?" He dryly inquired.

Sam found that his getaway was a sign of misery. He’s feeling guilty of not telling Grace the truth about his affair with Ivy. Sam is angry and hostile. He doesn’t feel the same way about life anymore. It has no meaning, not without Grace. She is definitely the light of his life. He looked up and saw Ivy on the air plane. "Ivy? I didn’t know you were on the same plane with me?" He looked baffled at her. "This was the only time slot I could take. I thought I was going to have a good vacation and it turns out that I have been misled. I’ve screwed up my appointments in my planner. What a shame?" She sighed.

"Yeah . . ." Sam soughed. "What’s the matter, Sam?" Ivy asked out of concern as Sam spilled his guts about what happened to Grace. He told her the whole story and they both arrived back to Harmony.

Chapter 5

Sam didn’t take it too well when he saw Grace one last time before burial. Ivy didn’t show not an ounce of remorse. I finally have him all to myself and no one can ever take him away from me! Her devious smile had a hint of sinful pleasure. "Ivy, what are you doing here?" Eve questioned hastily. "What’s the matter, Eve? Can’t handle the fact that I am here to support Sam?" She snickered. "Don’t be so smug, Ivy! The only reason Sam is having you here is because he is feeling vulnerable! If you have the decency to show a little honor to Grace, then I would be more than happy to believe you. Since you are the pathetic, rich spoiled brat that you are! I don’t take anything that you do lightly." hissed Eve.

"Not to burst your bubble, Eve. Do you not have anything else better to do than to harass me?" She gave a cold shoulder. "Ivy, I’m giving you fair warning. I’m not the one to be reckon with! If you hurt Sam in anyway! I will come after you and that’s a promise!" Eve threatened her. "And I’m supposed to be so scared. What are you going to do, Eve? Murder me?" She laughed coldly and walked away. Eve felt her blood boiling looking at that ferocious woman. TC snuck from behind. "Honey, what’s wrong?" He laconically inquired.

"Nothing, sweetheart. I just don’t think it’s right . . . the nerve of that woman!" She bitterly replied. "I know what you mean." He rubbed her shoulders gently. "Don’t let her get to you, Eve. Remember, even cold-hearted reptiles need to be loved." He sarcastically remarked. "You are terrible." Eve shook her head. "We should send our condolences to Sam once more before we leave." urged TC.

"I guess you’re right . . . No better yet, why don’t we stay with Sam just in case if he need anything?" Eve glanced at TC with a bubbly sensation soaring through her eyes. "What are you up to, Eve?" He smiled. "Nothing, I promised Grace that if anything happened to her that I will check up on Sam. That’s all." She shrugged. "That’s what I love about you, sweetheart. You always think of others before yourself." He kissed her passionately. "No sweat." She said dryly. "That diabolical bitch is going to pay and I will find out what she is up to." Eve murmured. TC dragged Eve along and found Sam.

"Sam, bro, how are you holding up?" TC gave Sam a brotherly hug. "I’m cool, it could be better if Grace was alive." He sounded depressed. TC glimpsed at Eve and gave her the ‘I don’t know’ eye. "Sam, we’re coming home with you, is that alright?" Eve intruded. "I don’t want to . . ." Eve cut Sam off. "Nonsense, Sam. You are not going to be a bother. Let’s go." She smiled and headed for her car. "Can’t talk Eve out of it?" Sam looked a little preoccupied. "You know Eve, Sam. Once she gets an idea in her head that’s it. There is no use of talking her out of it." TC grinned widely.

"I guess not." He sighed relentlessly. "I miss her, TC. Grace was the light of my life, how will I move on without her?" He frowned and feel like life has cheated him out of one thing. "Sam, try not to beat yourself up. Grace wouldn’t want you moping around. She’d want you to think upon happy times. You know what I’m saying?" TC implied. "I guess." He didn’t seemed so convinced.

Ivy watched Sam wallowing in his tears. "I’m going to comfort him. He’s going to need me." She told herself. "There is no way in Hell! I will let that bitch, Eve! Take away my one chance at happiness. I had no problem with eradicating Grace. None whatsoever." She exhaled tremendously and is prepared to take her charm to the next level.

"Sam!" She called out. Sam turned around and watched her. "Is it all right if I come along, too?" She fixed her smile on him. "Not at all. You don’t mind, do you TC?" Sam gave him puppy dog eyes. "No." TC gave in and didn’t want to argue with him. "Hi, TC. How’s it going?" She flashed a faux grin. "It’s going." TC flatly stated. He went straight towards the car. "TC, is Ivy trying to sneak her way back into Sam’s life?!" She fury with interrogation. "Beats me, the way it is looking, I would say I’m afraid so." He soughed and they both followed Sam to his house.

"Sam, thank you for letting me come." Ivy wanted to be grateful. "Not at all, Ivy. It’s no trouble. Would you like to have anything to eat?" He beamed. "No thank you, Sam. I’m not all that hungry. What about you? I know you’re famished." she glinted at his body with amazement. "Ivy, yeah, I guess." He replied sweetly. Just when Ivy was about to kiss him. TC and Eve waltzed in. "Sam! We’re so glad that you have made it back safely." Eve enjoyed barging in on Ivy. Her and Ivy never did get along that well. Eve has her reasons, too.

Eve is convinced that Ivy has something to do with Julian’s sudden death and Alistair’s as well. She knows that Ivy is capable of getting anything she want and will stop at nothing to get it. "Eve, I have called you like six times. Are you okay?" TC is beginning to worry. "I’m fine, honey. I was just thinking about some things like Grace’s death." She was partially telling the truth. She really doesn’t want TC to know what’s going on inside her head.

"Ivy, I will prove it one way or another that you were behind the Cranes’ sudden death." Eve looked glum and sat down miserably.

"Is everything all right, Eve? You look a little . . . What’s the word? Blue." Ivy snickered in a conniving way. "Ivy, shut up and go elsewhere! The last thing I need is your sappy sarcasm!" She snapped. "My, my. Someone’s got an at-ti-tude." She bellowed. "Ivy, I’m giving fair warning to shove it!" Eve hissed. "Don’t frown so much, it’s not good for your beauty. Really, dear? You need to enjoy life a little more instead of working so hard in the hospital." Ivy walked away and started conversing with Sam. "I swear that bitch is going to pay." Eve murmured acrimoniously.

"Sam, why don’t we go upstairs and talk about life?" Ivy propounded. "I don’t see anything wrong with it. C’mon." He held her hand as they ascended the stairs.

Eve told TC that she had to use the bathroom and went upstairs as well. "I really need to know what’s going on with that crooked woman. She found the door half opened and couldn’t believe what she is seeing. Ivy is making love with Sam. "Ivy, I’m glad you are here with me." He smiled. "I am glad that I can console you." She massaged him slowly. Eve is outraged with this sudden behavior that Ivy is presenting. "Damn her! I can’t believe that Sam is willing to give up all of his love and turn to that bitch!" She grumbled.

Ivy smirked when she saw Sam closed his eyes and slipped out of bed. "Yes, I shall persuade Sam and make him marry me. I will make him forget about Grace!" She irately replied. "Grace will be no more! I will make sure to that!" She stared at herself in the mirror and brushed her hair smoothly.

Eve nearly shook and stepped back. "I got to find out what Ivy is plotting . . . I got to protect Sam from this malevolent witch!" She moved closer and listened carefully on Ivy’s soliloquy. "I will make sure that Kay and Jessica will get to know me better. They will love me and forget all about Grace." She placed the brush on the dresser. "This woman is nuts and deluding herself. Kay and Jessica will never forget their mother. As long as they live. I got to warn Sam . . ." Eve walked away quietly and called Simone.

"Hello? Mom? What’s wrong?" Simone is a little frightened. "Nothing sweetheart . . . how is Kay and Jessica? Are they holding up pretty well?" Eve tried not to sound so shaky. "Mom, they’re fine. Are you sure there is nothing going on?" Simone pressed the issue again. "No, Simone, just send them my love. I love you, sweetie. Bye." She hanged up after Simone said goodbye. "If Ivy is up to any foolishness, I swear that I will bring her down and that’s a promise!" She whispered.

Ivy kissed Sam softly and glanced at him. "My beautiful, Sam. We will be together." She touched his cheek. "I swear to you, we will." Ivy fell asleep in Sam’s arms. Eve took one last glimpse at them and is ready to bring Ivy down.

Chapter 6

Ivy has worked her way around Sam and eventually he has fallen under her spell. Months after Grace’s death. Ivy actually coerced her way into Sam’s life. "Sam, I had never been so happy. Can you believe it? In two weeks, we’re getting married?!" She excitedly vented. "I can’t believe it, either. I will call TC and Eve to witness our private wedding." he suggested. "What?" Her world crashed right there. "Ivy, don’t act like your funeral is coming." He chuckled. "TC and Eve are going to be in my wedding to you. Besides, you’ll love them once you’ll get to know them." He said while stepping into the bathroom.

"I know I will like them but the question is will they like me?" She mumbled. "It’s not like it is a precarious situation, right?" He smiled. Ivy fixed her eyes on him. "Right, I don’t want to make it look like I am taking Grace’s place, honey." She kissed him softly. "You’re not taking her place. I’m grateful that you are in my life and nothing will take you away from me." He ensured her. "I know, Sam." concurred Ivy as she sounds slightly hesitant. "I don’t wanna hear it, all right." He glinted at her sternly. "I’m sorry ,Sam. I didn’t mean to upset you." She rubbed his chest romantically and the moment he laid his eyes on her she knew she was going to crumble.

"You know what I’m thinking at this moment, Sam?" insinuated Ivy. "Uh huh, and I want to be alone with you. Let’s make love." He picked her up and threw her on the bed like the wild man he used to be. Ivy implored for him to go further. This instant he compelled to go with his urge. "Oh, Ivy. I love being with you like this." groaned Sam. "I want to stare at your pretty face all night long and keep my end of the bargain that you’ll be satisfied."

Ivy sink her nails into his back as he cried out sweetly for her to let him inside her. His shaft entered her softness and the dampness of her core let him know that she is willing to do anything his heart desires. "Sam . . . don’t stop . . . more . . . I want more." She gruffly pleaded. Sam did what she asked and continue to obliged her with his sensual touch that forced her to bellow. "I love you so much." She released her sincere, seducing sigh and collapsed in his arms. They cherished the moment by feeling the breeze blowing on their skin and sleepiness fell upon them.

The ranting from Ivy is horrible yet it is almost a sign of being precarious. Eve knew what she had to do in order to let Sam know the real deal about Miss Ivy. "TC? Are you almost ready?" Eve impatiently urged. "Calm down, baby. Don’t explode on me." TC came downstairs, looking a tad worried. "TC, this is not humorous. We got to get to that wedding, even if it kills me!" Eve rushed out of the house and started up the engine. TC shook his head and couldn’t do nothing but to follow Eve in spite of Sam’s orders.

Damn Ivy for trying her hardest to keep me and TC out of her wedding to Sam! She has another thing coming. Sam will finally see the light of that malevolent bitch! Eve is not pleased with Sam’s erratic behavior towards her and TC. She knows that Sam will come to his senses and realize how cold-hearted Ivy really is.

Ivy smirked delightfully and dabbed the scent of jasmine on her chest. "Sam is going to be my husband. Yes, the possibilities! No one can prevent this from happing now. Eve thought she was clever two weeks ago when she tried her hardest of telling Sam that I was behind Julian’s and Alistair’s death. Ha! So ludicrous of her to think that way." She scoffed.

"Ready, Ivy?" Kay asked happily. "Yes, dear. Give me another minute, ok?" She softly requested. Kay nodded and shut the door. "The moment has finally arrived, I am going to be Mrs. Sam Bennett!" She whispered amongst herself. Ivy watched her reflection for one last time and kept her solitude in peace. She put on a smile and is ready to walk down the aisle. The minister has already proceeded and no objections has made its way to the table. The sealed their love for each other and is pronounced husband and wife.

Sam and Ivy made it to their hotel room and the saw how the view of the beach is exhilarating and captivating. They danced under twilight of the moon after extricating their honeymoon suite. The ocean made a heavenly sound which is music to their ears. She pressed closer to Sam and didn’t let go.

Sam told Ivy he is going to get some Merlot. Ivy agreed silently sand watched him disappeared into the night. "TC, how did you find us? Didn’t I tell you not to show your face around here?!" Sam narrowed his eyes at TC. "Hold your horses, Sam, give me a chance to explain." TC gazed at him wildly. "You got one minute." Sam stubbornly stated. "Eve and I are here to tell you something that you would not believe." He paused as Sam asked him where is Eve. TC was trying to explain but Sam has got a phone call.

"Well, well, well, look who Satan has brought in?" Ivy sarcastically bawled. "Ivy, why can’t you just tell Sam the truth that you have killed Alistair and Julian?" Eve crossed her arms. "Why ruin the bunch, Eve? Certainly, you of all people should know that keeping something that is disreputable is not accepting in our society." Ivy cruelly laughed. "Stop it, Ivy! Why are you so adamant on marrying Sam? Why such in a hurry?" Eve grimaced hastily.

"You wanna know why?! I’ll tell you why?! Simply because I wanted Sam back in my life. And there is nothing you can do to destroy me and Sam. Now that Grace is out the way . . . you can find your way out of here. There isn’t a thing that can quench your thirst of inquiry." Ivy yawned with boredom. "No! I am more than convinced that you know what happened to Grace, Ivy. I’m right, aren’t I?" Eve demanded to know. "I don’t know what you’re talking about." Ivy shrugged and snickered slightly. "I believe you do, Ivy. Or else why would you do the things you do to take Sam away from realism?" Eve cornered her with interrogation. "Believe what you want, Eve. I’m just glad that killed that mangy mouse of a wife, Grace! That bitch deserved it!" She evilly scoffed.

"What did you say?" Eve asked out of shock. "You heard me, I’m the one who has killed Grace and now it’s time for you to say goodbye." She pushed Eve close to the edge of the cliff.

Meanwhile. "Sam, no time for arguing I think that Eve is in trouble!" TC shouted. "What are you babbling about, TC?" Sam looked annoyed. "Look! Sam, let’s go!" TC did his best to run on his bummed knee and felled in agony.

"Don’t worry about me, Sam! Save Eve! Please save my wife?!" Sam could hear the plea in TC’s voice. He owe that much to TC and he will not let his friend down. Sam rushed over to the scenery where Ivy pushed Eve over the cliff. "Somebody help me!!" Eve cried out. Just when Ivy was about to turn, Eve had the strength that she had left inside her to drag Ivy down with her. Ivy pleaded Sam to save her but he ignored her when Eve told him that Ivy was the one who has committed homicide to Julian, Alistair, and most of all Grace. "Sam, help me, please!" Ivy begged some more.

Sam disregard everything Ivy has stated and looked at Eve. Eve couldn’t hold on any longer. "Sam, tell the girls and my husband that I love them." Eve wept. "No!!!" Sam shouted and grabbed Eve. "Thanks Sam." Eve ghastly replied. "No problem." He assured her with a slight smile. "I must save Ivy." Sam whispered and went back to the cliff and told Ivy to hold on but it was too late. Ivy stared at Sam for one last time and came tumbling down as she dived into the ocean. Her head landed on the gravel stone and blood splurged everywhere.

"Are you alright?" Sam had to let this mixed emotion for Ivy go. He comforted Eve and carried her back to TC. "Thanks man, I owe you one." TC said while sitting up. "No problem man. That’s what friends are for." Sam returned a pleasant smile. They all laughed. "Sam, how are you feeling?" Eve wondered. "I’m better now. I have learned the truth that my second wife has killed my first wife." He soughed. "Ready?" He asked right away. They both nodded and walked their way back to the hotel room. "Don’t worry, Sam. Love will come knocking on your door before you know it." TC ensured him. "I know and she will come . . . as long there are no hidden secrets I think I will be okay." They all made a toast to life and celebrated the night away. The End.
