IC AND OOC: LH chats are IC (in character), which means that whatever you say is what you want your character to say. Now if you want to say something OOC, out of character, you put it in double parenthesis. Example: Relic_: ((I'll be back in a few minutes)) or something like, ((did you guys hear about..?)) But if Relic the character is talking, you wouldn't put it in double parenthesis. ACTIONS: Actions can be written a couple ways, you can put the action in *'s like *nods and gets up*. Or you can put it in ::'s and it would be written like, ::Nods and gets up:: whatever way you like best... IGNORING: If there is someone in the chatroom that you do not get along with or is offending you in some way, please click on the persons name in the side bar, then hit 'ignore'. If you want to stop ignoring someone, just hit the 'accept' button. ONE-ON-ONE RP: If you start an RP with someone in the Poker Hall and want to keep it between you and that other person (as oppose to a group RP), please continue it either over an Instant Messager, or by clicking the person's name, then clicking the 'Private' button. TEXT COLOR: If you wish to change the color of your text, just hit the button down near the bottom, click the color you wish to change it to on the pop up, and then exit out of the little pop up. |
