Striver's Row

Built in the 1890s by David King Jr. between 138th and 139th Street, Striver's Row contains 146 rowhouses and 3 apartment buildings.  Striver's Row is also known as King Model Houses, named after its creator.  It contained modern plumbing, which was unusually fancy for its time, and it housed many of the richer Harlem residents during the Renaissance.
