| Opened on March 12, 1926 on Lenox Ave., the Savoy Ballroom welcomed everyone. Black, white, rich, and poor people all danced the night away. The only thing that mattered was if you could dance. There was even a section in the ballroom called Cat's Corner, where the elite dancers would show off their moves, without getting disrupted. |
