Lost in the noise, now that's how I feel
The only truth seems to be nothing is real.
Yet nothing IS real.
I "hear" a voice that begs from within,
"Listen to me!" Or that's what I thought it said.
I couldn't quite tell, too much noise in my head.
Perhaps it was nothing.

It's rushing in my ears, as well. Kinda hard to find the "small still
voice inside" amidst the clamour.

Wonderful post on DP, Parcifal. Your sewer analogy is all too fitting.
Hopefully, we "escaped" just in time to keep from being splattered by the
sludge.
It is both sickening and frightening that this sort of mind-fuck mentality
seeks to create or discover alternate worlds. Think about this from a
mystical/psychological perspective: if everything is truly connected, if
parallel or alternate universes exist and can be
created/traversed/discovered via a sort of extension of conscious
awareness, then what type of "world" will these people find? Certainly,
not one in which I would care to be a "subject".
Perhaps, and I realize this will sound more bizarre than much of what I
have propounded heretofore - so PLEASE feel free to punch lots of holes in
it; this concept - that we "bring with us" the "seeds" of creation from
our own imaginal powers, our "root" consciousness - is an important aspect
that many may want to keep us from discovering. As Dante keeps repeating,
"Mind over Matter". All appear to want to create a world in their own
image. AH! A key to the Genesis of mankind? Our unawareness is the only
thing which can permit such an occurrence and perhaps the only force which
can prevent it, as well. A sobering thought.

Signal to Noise or Noise from Signal? Like Particle from Wave Function?
The problem with fringe science is that it does indeed draw the fringe;
any discussion about such topics, especially alterante dimensions acts as
a strange attractor in its own right. I can't remember the author of the
quote, but it goes, "The opposite of a trivial truth is false, but the
opposite of a great truth is also true."
