Having perused the available info at the Bosoks site: it.t.boltpages.com/it.t/id11.html I find myself alternately agreeing and wanting to throw things...Has anyone else read the material there? What was your take on it? I admittedly have mixed feelings and VERY strong reservations about this "merging" (or mixing of metaphors if you will) of the I&OH and the PE/Montauk paradigms...Bewtween the alleged research of Marshall Barnes and the Bosoks Group, JM's gamesmanship (BTW: what is the word on that board of his?) & his collaboration with Peter Moon of Sky Books, I am going into a bit of a tailspin right now on the plethora of data out there...Not that that should be too suprising, trying to separate the wheat from the chaff is ALWAYS time consuming...Has the game become larger or has my patience become smaller? Sometimes I feel its the latter...Can anyone steer me in the direction of some worthwhile sites regarding the PE/Montauk info? I would appreciate it. |

I didn't see anything over there that impressed me except for a url posted to their discussion board that they completely dismissed as being irrelevent! Check out this page: http://members.aol.com/jebco1st/Paraphysics/search2.htm It has a lot of information about a theory from a guy named Dobbs from 1965. Although, as I had posted to the old Darkplanet board, that I believe that the Dobbs twins is a reference to the Church Of SubGenius, I would not dismiss this url so easily as they did. I think it is important. Also note that this comes from a "Journal of Paraphysics" named YGGDRASIL. Does the "Ankhs for the memories" thread ring a bell? There are some very important articles in this "journal". Anyone interested in the real "philosophers stone" should read Barry Carter's article in that Journal. I tried to point Pahana to this "ORMUS" material before, but I don't think he checked into it.. Anyway, the BOSOCKS crap bothers me. I am extremely tired of some jerk that proclaims to have all the answers dangling a carrot in front of me to see if I'll chase it. I am NOT BUYING ANY of Matheny's crap OR Marshall Barnes' crap either! I'm not buying information that is nothing more than their own speculations. But I am sure that Barnes will be able to convince some sucker to buy his books. But I am staying out of it. I won't be posting any real information to public boards. I am not going to inadvertantly supply con men with anything that they can use to lore stupid people to their traps. Well, I guess that pretty much sums up my opinion on "BOSOCKS" I am sick of hoaxers. I am sick of "UFOlogy" circles, I really am. |

Whew! I'm so glad that you all are "here". Things are getting ugly over at DP. I posted a "response" to billy and Mermel stating that I didn't have any info - WHICH I DON'T - to prove or disprove either one! Just like you noted, Parcifal, none of the info at it.t is anything new or earthshattering, but Marshall Barnes would have those who don't know any better believe so. I haven't yet figured out the reason for his vehement attitude toward JM - hence the "Matheny Moronics" site. This is all becoming surreal! It's distasteful and disgusting. One would think that at least one of us would have stumbled across this BOSOKS info long before now. We have been looking closely at surprising connections between Princeton (PEAR and the physics/math department), Esalen, the intelligence communities and Montauk/PE and some of the Inc. theories. My belief, at present (without more detail) is that this goes back much further than the 60s-70s, perhaps (I'm hazarding a wild speculation) that some of what we are seeing is a "bastard offspring" of 1940s-50s research. Just WHO is piloting this ship is another matter entirely. P.S. Got my 'puter fixed and now have a surge protector for my phone line, too. |

Well...that just says it all now doesn't it? (Sigh) Which way out of the maze before the minotaur shows up? Seriously though, this is all getting to be a bit much. Now that Marshall Barnes is a "player" in the metagame, I suppose anything can (and no doubt will) happen. The outcome I forsee: he & JM will try to compete to see who can outsell whose books and CD's the fastest on Amazon.com, and the loser will complain of a vast interdimensional conspiracy arrayed against him...("Damn reptoids won't let my books be sold in this reality! Fire up the egg, we're leaving!") Sorry, I just couldn't help myself... |

Mr Nowhere: Fire up the egg, we're leaving! I wonder why Harla called this new board "The Abyss"? Seems to me that that is what Darkplanet should call his board, it has become an abyss. This one should be called Hurqalya, or something like that! Anyway, not having an egg, I fired up the modem and it has brought me here, to a new place hopefully free of the problems that plague earth prime. I am glad to read your posts again, Mr. Nowhere! |

Thanks Parsifal. I'm glad to be posting again. I hate to say it, but I saw what was coming down the pike a while back with regards to the DP board, things seemed to have started going downhill after JM was on "Coast-to-Coast AM" back in Nov. I guess it was inevitable. I had considered posting there again back in Dec, but changed my mind due to "recent events", and then this nice board being set up (THANK-YOU HARLA!!!!). I guess the question now is, where do we go from here? How do we proceed with "the game" as such? There is a great deal which remains unanswered regarding JM's material and his promises of future material (what about the "Madame X" interview? The "Musee Mechanique"? His collaboration with Peter Moon? The Marshall Barnes fiasco?), and lest we forget, some sort of deal in the works with OEM Game Designs...I don't want to "second-guess" JM or presume to know his intentions (I'm not riding my scooter through that mine field!), but I find recent events to be infuriating at best...Perhaps we're on the "next level" of the game even now? Maybe. But me thinks its about a great deal more than merely trying to "bridge the proscenium" at this point. I told Harla a while back that I thought JM was the "Ed Sullivan" of culture jammers. I still do. And I think he's got a "really big shew" in store for us all. |

Hi, Just a short post which I promised I wouldn't do. I haven't read all the forums just quickly perused them. Like I said, work takes precedence right now. I'd like to point out I've heard of the ORMES material before, and I believe it has relevance, but at the same time I don't believe it is the whole answer regarding the philosophers stone in anyones book. At any rate, I'm likely to check it out eventually after doing my own independent investigation. I'm glad that those who are seriously interested in research have had this idea... I was a bit disappointed my original forum didn't come to anything, but in any case a free forum unattached to a particular username is good. I'm also interested to find out what anyone have to say about my theories posted in the New Years musings thread on the old DP board. Hope to post more info soon, Pahana (142=7). |

i am learning as much as i can about you all. i would like to know as much as i can. email me information that may be used as a suplement to what i am reading now. i feel like i have missed alot of what has gone on, being that most of the stuff talked about on I happened when i was about 10. thank you. |
