Reviews of April Movies
The Alamo (4/9/04) 4: Based on the most famous battle in Texan history, the movie features bold action sequences and touching character dialogue. Somewhat extended but done well. Dennis Quaid
Hellboy (4/2/04) 3: Another comic book movie, but this time based on the devilish hero that works for the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense. Somewhat pointless but has comic moments. Selma Blair Walking Tall (4/2/04) 3: A ex-special forces soldier returns home to find out that his town is now run by drug-dealing casino owners. A very short movie, but decent fighting sequences. The Rock
The Girl Next Door (4/9/04) 3: Hott girls running around and living on the same street, how can that go wrong? Many comedic moments, some cheesy but porn and high  students is reality. Emile Cuthbert Mean Girls (4/30/04) 4: When a girl from Africa goes to high school for the first time it seems to be a chick flick about teenage clics in high school. However it turns out to be a great teen comedy. Lindsey Lohan
