Tuchuk Camp was started September 17, 1998, after the previous occupants abandoned it without notice. KnightStorm was the first to move in, and O/others quickly followed. Council began to meet on the 27th of September, and meets weekly now.
We held an OPEN HOUSE on the 17th of Oct 98. Some of the questions and answers follow.
A: that varies from Camp to Camp. Here, You must be a Member and attend auction to buy a Camp girl. A kajira may also be acquired through purchase from a Master, or in travels elsewhere.
Rhodan: Ladies, Men, slaves..on behalve of the Ubar of this fine Tuchuk Camp, welcome. Let's make a things a bit more fluent here shall we? To clarify matters so to speak. In front of you you see three appointed victim..err..volunteers, each has his or her's own specialty when it comes to Gor. First of all, the Ubar, Knightstorm, it goes without saying that anything that concerns of the Wagon People in general and the Tuchuk in particular is His field of expertise. Then the lovely kajira known as solari, again it is clear what her expertise is, she has a kajira training room, so all questions about slaves would be best directed to her (unless you want to know how to use a slave , in which case I am more then willing to help *G*) and then there is My little person. My specialty lays mainly in the field of of general Gorean knowledge, and the social structure of the planet...again, question on how to use a slave are also more then welcome, I will try to show by example, perhaps the lovely solari would be of assistance with that . *S*..Just have a good night, have fun and please remember there is no such thing as a stupid question, there are only stupid answers.
Q: Master what is the purpose of the love wars, and why are they only specific to the Wagon Peoples?
A: to exchange women with Turia, to show skill, and prowess; there could also be an argument made for new blood and such as well; refresh the gene pool as it were.
Q: and do they submit their spirit to all or do they do so to the One who wins them? or do they ever truly learn submission or is it respect of their spirit and fire and respect for the prowess of the One who wins them that binds them to service? duty and responsiblity as opposed to slave heat???
A: every girl eventually finds her slave belly, and will submit to any Master eventually, though there is argument to be made that for each girl there is the One.
Q: what is the protocol for runaways in Tuchuk?
A: much the same as elsewhere; a true --TRUE-- runaway may be ko lared by any Member of Camp. We call that swordright here.
Q: What to do with the oddity of FreeWomen? Especially online? They seem to love the kajira, yet this attitude is not consistent with the books: and the girls..."sisters"? My understanding was there was always power plays amongst the kajira.
A: treat them as free, realizing it is difficult to make them be Mistress, but we ensure that in public at least they act as free, and no, we can't make them treat the kajira as they do in the Scrolls... ***grin***... and there are certainly power plays among the kajira... I see it every day.
Q: I was reading the general Gor page, and it was talking of making sure you want to be a warrior before commiting to that caste, but it did not mention any other castes for Men, besides male slaves... what are the other castes?
A: Good question indeed, it always amazed Me why every Man always has to be a Warrior. There are hundreds of castes a Man can belong to, the high castes of the Scribes , Healers and Warriors to name a few, or the lower castes which have among them the hunters, the assasins (although only in Ar), the cooks and even the peasants are a caste on their own.
Q: what Gods are followed and worshipped in Gor?
A: None, there are NO gods or deities whatsoever on Gor, the Priest Kings are highly intelligent beings, ugly as hell I might add, but definitely no gods, nor would you find any temples or worshipping of any kind on Gor. As far as I understand the average Gorean is too proud in the way He has shaped the world around him, to give credit to a God or Goddess.
Q: I read about a building that was very technologically advanced, with elevators, lights, etc... is Gor a medieval World?
A: Wagon Peoples, of which the Tuchuk are the fiercest, worship Endless Sky, and perhaps the soil that feeds the grass that feeds the bosk, and that's it, though they give respect to Priest Kings.
Q: if a camp girl from another camp is visiting, with permission of course, does her camp's ko lar afford her protection in Tuchuk?
A: within reason; no girl has complete freedom of action at a Camp ever.

Tuchuk has moved. On 24 Mar 99, KnightStorm and KNIGHTRANGER were told by buddha, AFTER HE SOLICITED OUR OPINIONS, that the City of Thentis, led by the Hellspont, would not go online. He ignored Our opinions, and he lied... in the early morning of 25 Mar 99, it did. It was enough. We had been telling buddha for months to slow down. Tuchuk had voluntarily given up Members to help start Kataii... Kassar saw its Members stolen by one of its Own... whispers in the corners... buddha read a PRIVATE post... and posted it in public... based on that ONE post, that he had to go looking for... he ran a banner announcing I was gone... took My boots, and those of First Knight... advertised for a new Ubar of Tuchuk... and began to harass and degrade members of Tuchuk.... I would point out that he didn't ask Me... he couldn't... I was not Home... nor did he wait to speak to Me... he did all this while I was not around... I decided that Tuchuk could not Honorably be part of maze any longer, and such Tuchuks as agreed with Me moved to the addy now posted on the front of this page... We lost some... Krul... Dominoe... but we gained Malistic and Sandtiger, as well as Kitria... so we survive, and grow strong.

LAST RAID AT MAZE
The camp, in hurried readiness,
Waits for the impending intruders.
They came in full strength, with weapons drawn and ready
Willing to strike without favor.
Arrows flew, Swords clashed, Chaos ruled for the moment.
Those dedicated to protect the camp fought valiantly and well,
Losing none and Those wounded would heal in time with three Healers' help.
And so to a new camp They did trek.
After two days of healing the Camp rests well,
Reveling in three new Members that showed undue courage and bravery.
FIRST RAID AT EROS CITY
The waiting of yet another raid,
Wondering if enough would come to aid.
As each minute slowly passed,
Another Member came as asked.
Even a few entered the gate
That did not know of impending fate.
Yet They too took up Their arms
To await the GateKeeper's alarm.
At last They came by two's
Wondering why thus They did choose,
The first volley of bolas and arrows flew,
Slicing through the air straight and true.
But through the first defense They came
So to Swords, resounding to slash and maim
Four waves of raiders tried Their best
All hearts pounding, facing the test.
They could not break Our spirits and set Us to flight,
So They retreated to try another night.

Our Warriors relaxing, reveling at the Raiders' fate, enjoying the
Memories of another unsuccessful raid, stopped at camp's gate.30 Nov 98: I am tired of being asked whether I agree or disagree with decisions made by Council in My absence. Look at the Members page; Council precedence is as stated there. DO NOT ask Me if I support decisions made by that Council. It is a waste of time. Tuchuk has the best Council ever seen in online Gor, and They have Their jobs because They think as I do. In the absence of any Council, Trusted Brothers make the decisions.
02 Jun 99: As ragnar says, Scars cannot be removed. Honors granted to ragnar, first knight, and ariakas are hereby rescinded... they are no longer members, let alone Courageous and Trusted. In addition, Scars granted in maze will be neither worn nor Honored in this Camp. I remain firm in the belief that Tuchuks have the right to travel where T/they will... but I will not be seen in that camp save on necessary business. Members of this Camp may still visit there, though kajirae in TC or KS ko lars will NOT go there... You have friends there, and I respect that... however, the Membership requirements of THIS Camp will be adhered to. It is a camp on a site where there is no Honor... T/those who received rhodan's post need to know that maze tuchuk was offered to him first... then given to ragnar, and the reason for that was that maze thought he could break this Camp.

A/all are welcome to use that email for ideas, complaints, submissions to the Camp page, or whatever.Tuchuk does not keep ghost Members: remember, four visits a week minimum to maintain Membership.When a Tuchuk girl dances, PAY ATTENTION. 30 Jun 99: ATTENTION TUCHUK!!! I am tired of Members "releasing" girls They bought from this Camp without a ko lar... those girls who come to You from TC WILL RETURN to TC if You deem it necessary to let them go. This is not an option, it is a requirement.
19 Jun 99: As of this date, dual membership with maze tuchuk has ended. The homepage there has pirated material on it... when we went to maze and requested it be removed, we got this response:
(22:59:00)sparkle: OK here is my public statement 1) i ask that anything that may have been borrowed or built from the site of Eros Tuchuk be redone and removed from this camp pages as soon as is possible. i make no judgement on who did what but i think we need to try to sever ties as much as possible. ~sigh~ i'm sorry for the trouble, i feel in the long run it will be better to just make like they don't exist, or at least those who are intent on pursuing this feud. ~smirk~ the others are unfortunately caught in the middle. i hope for everyone this will settle soon. 2) i have banned both the Ubar and His FC/slave's ip's from this site. if they use proxies to enter this room, boot them. report the ip and we will ban the proxy.if they use proxies to access other rooms in Webmaze, let them be. no need to go on a hunt. i think that covers it. any questions?
