| INBOX BLUES My Inbox is no longer what it used to be.. Just junk mail and that funny from VT; No e-mails, no phattes, no hi's and no bye's, C'mon, wake up and type, what's wrong with you guys? (Whatever happened to the good old days?) Yes, once in a while I do get to chat -- Online.....it's chaos, I can tell you that, (Jolly and Bob ... together ... just today) It's momentary pleasure; it ain't here to stay. (Whatever happened to the good old days?) Now some guys have managed to stay very quiet, And others have gone on a rampage and riot; Whatever it was be it prose or a phrase, It did make my day in so many ways. (Whatever happened to the good old days?) I'm guilty, I'm guilty, I know I have failed, So many replies that I should have mailed; But this is so harsh - please don't do this to me- Just write me a word and let me be free. (Whatever happened to the good old days?) Some may have got hassled, some may have been pissed, Some may even have struck me off their list. My inbox has suffered and so have I, I'll settle for ccs, and that's no lie!! (Whatever happened to the good old days?) And you who said Fridays and you who said Mondays And you who said Saturdays and you who said Sundays; Your regular mail from March and through May Have slowly but surely just faded away. (Whatever happened to the good old days?) Some may feel this poem is too bad and too long; (It may not be a poem, it may be a song!!) Who cares? As long as the job it is done, If my mailbox gets flooded ... my battle is won. (Whatever happened to the good old days?) And Mane and Moghe and Aloo and Surd And Tapas and Jolly and Mannan and Gurd And Satya and Gupte and Lobo and Jong, I hope you'll reply to this poem (stroke) song. (Whatever happened to the good old days?) To those not mentioned above I'd have to admit, I couldn't find a word to rhyme with Udit, Or KS or Ronnie or Dutta or Bob, Or Sushmito ... that would have been a job! (Whatever happened to the good old days?) I promise, I promise, just one more verse, (It just can't get better, it only gets worse) If I don't get no mail in twenty-four hours, I'll set this to music with chords and the bars!!
