was founded in 1967 in Turin, Italy, to design and manufacture electric
motors for industrial applications, up to more than 2000 kW.
During 1996, a new range of square-frame, vector inverter supply ac motors for industrial application was successfully launched on the market, with power ratings up to 1000 kW. With the company policy of continuous development, new products will be launched to offer the market further updated and more efficient solutions.
The company itself, is organised according to the principles of the Lean Production and of the Learning Organisation, and makes wide use of integrated software systems. The production procedure is managed by a mrp system; all working processes are recorded by means of an up-dated laser bar-code reader system, which characterises all internal working methods, whilst maintaining total control of the entire manufacturing process. The Company is ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14000 (in process) certified; this is warranty of quality and efficiency, and to respect environmental aspects. Today SICMEMOTORI ranks as one of the most important European players in the field of modern industrial drive motorization. |
