Has the Harford County Public School System Administrators been at work covering up safety related problems and harassment perpetratrated by managers?  You bet?  It seems as non-technical managers recently dismissed a Mechanical Engineer when he found many different safety violations within many school.  All types of exposures and hazards were found.  Currently, this individual is pursueing all avenues of recourse to protect the public, students, parents, school personnel and themselves.  The Administration has allowed and been aware of extensive amounts of harassment perpetrated by individuals such as the Director of Facilities (Jeff Ayers).  To date, they have protected his law breaking activities and his harassment of workers over safety related matters.  The Aministration has been notified for at least a year, in writing, and in meetings that this abuse and violation of individuals rights was occuring.  Each time the Director of Facilities was protected!  What does he have on them ... might be the appropriate question to ask.

We all know that his Supervisor (Director of Operations - Joe Licata) was charged several years back with "unnatural and perverted sex acts" when he was found in a car in Baltimore by two (2) police officers.  You can read all about this moral leader in the October & November articles of the Aegis on microfiche at your local County Library.  No wonder he protects his subbordinate ... look at what he has had to sweep under the rug.  What still hasn't come out of the closet yet!

Then when a bright young Mechanical Engineer comes on board, he is harassed, had their rights violated under the law, then dismissed for protecting the citizens and children of Harford County.

Changes in the leadership of the School System are warranted after such an incident.  Right as this page is written, school officials are trying to hide facts pertaining to students and school personnel being exposed to asbestos fibers and other hazards.

We will not allow this to happen!  We will be on their back-sides until they do what is right and correct.

Asbestos

Have you or your child experienced any lung problems?  You could in the future if you attended certain schools in Harford County.  Documented evidence has been recorded by a former Mechanical Engineer.  This documentation will be used at the appropriate time to show all parties the extent of exposure.  It will be used appropriately and eventually will be made public once the appropriate investigations are performed and all legal avenues are exhausted.  A class action lawsuit may be formed to represent possible exposure victims should this be necessary at some point.  Currently, the school administration officials are in denail and trying to hide past exposures!  We will not allow this since to many individuals have been harassed and had their rights violated under the law regarding these issue.  We will pursue this matter vigorously until conclusion!

Safety Violations

Did you know that the Director of Facilities (Jeff Ayers) has continually made decisions which place your child or you in jeopardy when you enter a school building.  We have and continue to recieve documentation going back a while which clearly demonstrates the incompetence exhibited by this individual.  We will ultimately begin to divulge these atrocities once other appropriate investigations are performed and completed.  For appropriate solution to these matters patience sometimes is necessary.  We will dot the "i"'s and cross the "t"'s to get this situation straightened out for the taxpayer.  The school system officials would rather walk around with their "noses in the air .... and heads high in the clouds of ignorance" than straighten out a problem.  The do not listen to the experts they would rather get rid of them.  However, they recently picked on the wrong people, now the issues will come to the forefront and the truth will be told.  Then the finger-pointing and in-fighting will begin!

Other things going on!

Did you know that the School System has been running it's Facilities Department contrary to established governmental standards.

Did you know that the 2001/2002 school year could have been or may have been potentially lethal on the students, teachers, school staff, and community in general.

Problems found in schools were:

* Asbestos found throughout common areas

* Over-Pressurization systems which did not pressurize safe spaces to the governmental standard

* Electrical problems which were not inspected and could have resulted in electrocution of students.

* No Permits for work completed by Facilities

- Electrical

- Plumbing

- Building Structures

* Refrigerant releases in violation of the Clean Air Act

* The use of an unapproved license to obtain refrigerants

It goes on and on!!!  These practices were commonplace throughout the Facilities department at the direction of Jeff Ayers (Director of Facilities) and Joe Licata (Asst. Supt. for Operations - formerly charged with "unnatural and perverted sex acts").  These are the zealots and hypocrites who have destroyed the environment in which your children learn.  They were helped by the Investigator for the Harford County Public School System ... Bob Bennedetto.  Seems as though Bob couldn't find anything contrary to governmental standards!!!  Maybe because he is covering for his buddies in the "click" at the School System.  What a bunch of goof-balls masquerading as professionals!  These so-called leaders have put your safety at risk!!!  They worked in tandem to dismiss the Mechanical Engineer who uncovered this mess!  But they forgot one thing ... he speaks much louder away from the job than he was able to on the job!

It is time to clean house at the Harford County Public Schools!  The zealots need to be removed and the good people like that Mechanical Engineer need to be restored.  This insures that the taxpayers are protected!
