| *John Cena (with B-Squared) def. Rikishi Rikishi was quick off the mark and totally dominating the match until B-2 saved Cena from a stink face. B-2 then got more involved and after a bit of commotion Cena used the Kish's tights to help him get away with the win. *Bill DeMott def. Chuck Palumbo A clothesline followed by a reverse neckbreaker to Chuck sealed the win for DeMott as he continued his red hot form on Smackdown! *Billy Kidman def. Eddie Guerrero (with Chavo) You would have never guessed it but Eddie has lost the mullet and now has a Chavo like haircut. Nevermind, we will find something else to bag him about. The tag champ started the match off well but was soon distracted when John Cena and his buddy B2 came out and started rapping trash about Los Guerreros. Chavo went straight for B2 when Rikishi ran out and started attacked him as well. Some refs came out and removed Chavo, B2 and Rikishi from ringside but not John Cena, who had now joined Tazz and Cole, because he didn't physically interfere. There was a lot of good manuevers in the second half of the match. Cena then knocked Eddie over the head with his chain and Kidman hit the shooting-star press to get the 3 count, unaware of Cena's contribution. *Chris Benoit & Edge def. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin (with Kurt Angle) via D.Q Team Angle made their Smackdown! debut against Benoit and his chosen tag partner who you just could tell was going to be Edge. This was an impressive match and a highlight would have to be synchronized German suplexes from Benoit and Edge. But Captain Angle was getting frustrated and used his title belt to get the disqulifictation. AFter the match he choked the ref with one of his crutches until he announced Team Angle as the winners. *Nunzio (with Jamie Noble & Nidia) def. Crash The crowd was pretty dead during this match but it wasn't anything special either. Nunzio won it following a flying armbar. *Brock Lesnar def. Matt Hardy (with Shannon Moore) Brock was in no mood for mucking around after the chair shots earlier and made pretty quick work of Matt Hardy V.1. Matt tried to start the match off by sending in his #1 M.Fer Moore in first but Lesnar dominated Hardy. Moore interfered and Matt hit the Twist of Fate but Lesnar hit back with an F5 and won the match. Paul Heyman and Big SHow started Brock down from the top of the ramp, so just to intimidate them Lesnar gave Matt another F5. NEXT WEEK!! We have been promised footage of Dawn and Al from their honeymoon, haven't we suffered enough? Pleeeeez no more!!! Plus what will happen for Brock on the lead up to his first Royal Rumble? |

| *Other Happenings - Dawn-Marie comes out and tells us that she is going to marry Al in the nude. By now we couldn't care less and can't wait for the whole thing to be over. Stephanie is backstage and tells Dawn that the wedding can stay on but the dress has to as well, or there will be repercussions. - Torrie is backstage talking to Billy Kidman about how much she hates what it going on. (Yeah, we get the picture all this could have been done in like two weeks) Billy finally shows character by impersonating Al and Dawn, Torrie laughs and it's done. - Josh Mathews interviewed Kurt with Team Angle behind him. In a nutshell, Kurt basically said that Benoit is up against the best in the business and that he is going to loose at the Royal Rumble. It was actually a pretty good promo, and besides his all being someone we love to hate, Kurt is what he claims to be - the best in the business. - And so the wedding ceremony begins...and hopefully this means it will be over to. Well every goes fine, until you get to the whole "does anyone object" part. Well apart from the entire crowd and pretty much anyone with a sane mind we all object, but it seemed Dawn did as well. (No Torrie as of yet) Dawn said she wants to get married in the nude but Steph will only left her go as far as her lingire.....wait it gets worse. She tells Al he has to do the same and Dawn starts stripping him down. (I suggest any small childern or elderly people...or anyone with their vision run away screaming at this point). And so they tied the knot, followed by what looked like a fish that had been dead for 3 weeks kissing a balloon that was about to burst. Folks if you did not see this i suggest you go and by a lottery ticket because you would be the luckiest person alive - Paul Heyman comes out and talks crap. He says he has a proposition for Brock Lesnar. Brock VS. Big Show at Royal Rumble, the winner enters the match, the loser is out. Brock comes out to answer but is attacked by Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore with steel chairs. Matt got him with a really hard shot to the back of his head. |
