Not much is heard of the Greek Goddess Tyche, but it seems that she was once an important part of the Greek world. Not only a goddess but the embodiment of the concept of good fortune, she bestowed her favors seemingly at random. One of her euphemisms is "Automatia" which tells that a man may make his own luck, for she bestows good fortune upon any who would take it, without thoughts of what men or gods may think of it. The Dischordain movement reveres Eris/Dischordia for her chaos, but Tyche shows the same randomness. Tyche gives freely, but if she is not honored for her bounty, her sister Nemesis may take an interest in you. Lady Luck is a fickle goddess, and it is high time I placed this Net Shrine up in her honor. |

The constellation Virgo, although it's mythological roots are questionable, has been linked to Tyche. Virgo is the second largest constellation, after Hydra. |
