Hardway took on the Punishers for the second time this year, and after the monumental 28-24 game earlier in the year,  Hardway knew they had to up their defense to have a chance.  It worked like a charm, as the Punishers were held to nearly 1/3 of their previous game’s run total.  The bad news was that Hardway forgot to bring the bats, and was only able to score 8 runs, partly due to the top of the order (Ty Baggott, Cody Murray, and Tim Brandt) going a measly 1-10.  Greg Bloyd and Matt Simpson did their best to make up for it, each going 2-3, and Ryan Gray added a triple.
