Beginning class. I have devided this chapter up into 4
simple steps. So ok, on with step #1, we will use this page
as a starting point, click on the "find" key on keyboard.
Next, type in the first word of this lesson page, which is
"Beginning" .. now you will notice that it is "highlighted"
after clicking the "find on page key". simple huh .. ok
that's your 1st. step.
Well on
to the 2nd step. Ok, now that you can highlight, it's time
to copy this page .. so highlight the first word of this
page. Now hold down on your "shift" key while using
your "arrow" keys .. in this case, the "down" arrow and
maybe the "right" arrow key to completely copy this page.
Wow you catch on quick, that wasn't so bad .. now was
it!
Step #3, OK, we have copied the text .. now it's time to
"cut" it. While holding the "cmd" key down, press and
release the "C" key .. "just a little hint here", if the
volume is up on tv .. you will hear this slight click! OK
you have just "cut" the message from the page. You are
ready to move on to #4 !
Finally
ready for the 4th step which is pasting, you can do this
anywhere where you can type, for instance a "reply" to a
letter ..OK here we go ..hold down on "cmd" again.. then
hit the "V" key, there it is, amazing .. huh .. popped up
right before your eyes .. ok now you know how to cut, copy
and paste .. not so hard ..huh! Want to Copy and Cut just one line, simply find your starting word, hold down "shift" key, then press your left or right arrow key. NEW COPY AND PASTE FOR PC USERS 1st,Simply place your browser arrow next to item to be copied, press and hold left button on the mouse. 2nd, Slide mouse across line to be copied or if you want the entire message simply scroll mouse down to bottom of message. As you can see you have highlighted your content. 3rd, find "edit" at the top left of your screen, find "copy" and click. 4th, you are now ready to paste your message to an e-mail, etc. simply go to "compose" and in the message area, click on "edit" again. Here you will click on "paste" and your message appears. Amazing huh!
