SLC SHUFFLE!
After the famous march down Queensway after Grad Parade, the cadets learn the SLC Shuffle at Club 41. It is done, and has been done like this since 1973, to The BEATLES MEDLEY by STARS ON 45.
First the Song starts playing and the officers will start the demonstration by shuffling. Then the staff cadets join in...then its time to teach the 290 or so new grads the sacred dance...the
SLC Shuffle...For some (like myself) it was hard to learn...but we still learned it after 3 hours of shuffling (in uniform and boots mind you!) and now its FIRST NATURE at every cadet-related dance, to shuffle when the song comes on..AND IT ALWAYS COMES ON!
It's my favorite song...it's
16 MINUTES AND 17 SECONDS LONG and when finished you want to die because you have NO breath (or fluids. hahah) but its worth it...Shuffling with a bunch of SLC Grads from various years...

Shuffle til Ya PUKE!
