| I reckon it's mega cheesy to put one of these on here but I seem to be doing so, so prepare yourself for cheddar more cheesy than the lyrics AND the backgrounds!!! I'm Kate (aka Radiokate) and I'm from South Wales. Pretty obviously my passion is music and I've been a Hardcore lover for about seven years now since hearing my first Vibes and Livelee tape (more cheese!) I maintained my position as a bedroom raver until about 2002 when I eventually got to go raving (horray for fake validate cards). Greatest experience walking into that crowd of people for the first time with Sy on the decks!! What can I say, I don't remeber much else after that... As for the scene now, I know a lot of people have a problem with where the music is heading but well a lot of people were disappointed when Happy Hardcore evolved from what is now Old Skool but things have to change and by the end of the 90's Hardcore was dying and it was necessary to take a new direction. Undoubtedly people didn't appreciate the change in many ways but it has saved the scene as raves are now bigger than ever and more and more money is being put into the scene with reguards to events and production. I am, and always will be a Hardcore raver, so no matter if its Old Skool, Happy Hardcore, Nu Skool or whatever else it can't be bad. So what can I say other than.... Don't Forget The Cry, Hardcore Will NEVER Die! |
