A quick intro of myself. I'm almost 44. I live in the Bay Area with my two boys. Chris is a very troublesome 16 year old. Tim is a very quiet, cerebral 13 year old. They are about as opposite as night and day. I have been battling my weight for about 13 years. I managed to lose a bit after my divorce 7 years ago, but it crept back up again. I am frankly tired of this battle and decided that I was not going into my mid-forties with this problem any more. I am a very active person and do not want to be limited by weight issues. I also think that because I am in a relationship with someone who truly doesn't care what I weigh, it makes it very easy to lose weight for myself. He doesn't actually know about Weight Watchers, because he has been on a job site since October and will not be home until April. I have found WW to be very good for me. It has really hammered home some of the things I already knew about healthy eating, it seemed to make it all make sense. I believe Oprah would say I've had an "AHA" moment. |
