The March of seasons - My Winter 1. How long has The March of seasons been together as a band? We are a very young band, it�s almost a year that we�re playing together and we�ve a full lenght in our hands yet!! Isn�t that cool?? Hahahahaha! 2. Where are you from? We come from Padova a little and boring city in the north-est of italy! 3. What are some things that you did to prepare for in the beginning when the band was just starting out? Did you know what the band was to sound like early on? We always looked for what we wanted and not for what people wanted from us. We play in a band �cause we like to do it, �cause we�re friends and we enjoy it, it�s very beautiful when you play gigs and people comes and enjoy with our music, buy our t-shirts or our cd but it�s not the most important thing for us; what we really want is to have a great time playing. 4. You blend a lot of different styles together such as Hardcore along with a heavy dose of the european heavy metal sound which has been taking Europe and the rest of the world by storm for a long time now. Would this be a good description of how you sound overall? I think that this is a good description. we�re geat listeners and we�re always looking for something new. Obviously when we�re compounding new songs we put into them all the influences of what we�re listening. We write songs all togeather so the influences are more than you could immagine! ahhaha 5. Is "My Winter" your most recent album? Yes, it�s the only one we�ve done and we want to thank Ossa, Bubbo and all Graves Records staff for the trust and all the help they give us every day! 6. How long did it take to record the CD? We spent a couple of months in our studio to pre-record all the tracks and then we staied one month at hate studio with our sounds-engineers Icio e Peo where we recorded and mixed all the tracks. 7. You blend a lot of interesting melodic/heavy riffs throughout the album, what would you say influenced you most, the European metal scene overall or was there a number of bands? There are so many bands that influenced us, for example unearth, slayer, as i lay dying, pantera, avenged sevenfold...maybe too many! Hahahahaha! 8. Has this album received good reviews so far by press/media? The firs reviews we red in some webzine were very bad, but then lot of zines and radio started to appreciate our album and our work. And now we�re reading only good reviews about My winter! 9. Where have you toured so far in the bands career and is there any place you'd like to visit and play some shows? we always played in italy, i think that Rome is the farther city where we�ve gone for a gig! But now we are planning the european tour and we can�t wait for it! 10. What are the plans for the band for the end of 2007 & starting 2008? Now we have a lot of gigs for the italian tour so we�ll go around Italy to promote the album. Then with the beginning of 2008 we hope we�ll be also touring Europe. The dream becomes reality! ahahahaha 11.
