| The path to science knowledge... | ||||||||||||
| The items listed below will be the topics taught. They are generally in the order that I will follow begining with first marking period and flowing to the fourth. The broad topics will have several subtopics that can be accessed through the links for further investigation. | ||||||||||||
| There are three general broad topics taught in the seventh grade science curriculum. They start with: Diversity of Life - which will include... | Within these broad topics are many mini-units with individual lessons taught. The large topics may take an entire marking period or more and may overflow from marking period to marking period. When I am able to, I will provide a link to a general scope and sequence to my topics so that parents and students will have a general idea of what I am teaching and where I will be going. I am no means to be held to the timeline that I provide. There will be many extenuating circumstances that will force me to adapt my timeline. Some mini-units may have to be enhanced, tweaked, or potentially dropped all together. Within each unit, I will try to have one project. I also intend on using our new computer lab to the best of my ability! I'll have to fight DeKay for it.... |
