Heres the news...our journey continues...

We bought a house.  It is a street away from our land.  We hope to fix it up, it needs lots of love, and then when our house is built on the hill we will most likely rent out the house we just bought.  We did this for several reasons.  The income later for a four bedroom with possible rooms in the basement to rent out in a college town, we found out the heater doesn't work in the airstream (we use a water space heater thing that works for the moment), and the possible onset of cabin fever. 

Everyday I grow to love our spot on the hill so much.  So it will be hard living somewhere else, plus we just got everything set up here.  Although the battery which is used for the lights in the trailor has died twice now and so we are back to no lights, but we do have electricity for everything else, apparently only the lights go through the battery, or some such thing. 

I am excited about cleaning and fixing up the house we bought.  There will be plenty of space and the heat and lights work.  And with four bedrooms, we can rent out a room to someone now and I can use another room to start my Reiki business.  I was certified in Reiki Level I and II last weekend and am very excited about getting into it professionally. 

The barn is almost down, just a couple more weekends ought to do it.  Then we will have the structure for our house.  There is a lot to do, but I try to leave time for life to just happen. 

I have 2 holiday choir concerts in December that I am really looking forward to.  I became a member of the UU fellowship this past weekend.  Every day I love Athens more and more, the people here are wonderful and I feel like I have finally found a placed to call home.
