When I got older, around 7, I was obsessed with France. I decided that someday, I had to go. So, I saved up for 10 years and at 17 I went. I have been 2 more times since, the last time being a 2 month trip to Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy and Greece, alone after I graduated from college.
I was always an avid reader of anything I could get my hands on. I have two authors who inspired me to do two different things.
The first was Christopher Pike who inspired me to write. The second was Daniel Quinn who inspired me to change the world and changed my way of thinking for the better.
I started playing with the idea of Paganism when I was in 8th grade and it is still the closest thing I have to defining my spiritual path
I tried being a vegetarian in high school, but got sick because I didn't know what I was doing. But years later, when I met my now husband, B, I learned to do it the right way and became serious about it.
In college I took many classes, but the ones that struck a chord deep down, were the women's studies. I fast became a feminist and proud of it.
So, I guess you could say, I have a fair share of passions in my life and I can honestly say they all fall into place in the puzzle of my life and fit quite well together.
In my spare passionate time I love dogs and can only wish I myself were one, too.
My hero and angel is my mom, Karen, who has been everything to me, even if we don't always agree.
My baby is my puppy Josie and I'm her people mommy.
The love of my life is B, whose love continues to surprise and challenge me - not just by giving me a better understanding of love, but by continuing to stay true to the challenge of being myself.
All of these things and all of these people, they are not me, but they direct me well down a path to finding who me is.
Skills/Interests/Hobbies: I like to read a lot, write, sing, dance in waterfalls, long walks in the woods with my MP3 player, meditation, cook, organize everything, knit scarves, sew, learn from doing, have a good cry, laugh til I can't breathe, play with animals (humans included), I like to listen, good with children, good one on one communication skills, good German legs for hiking, and my husband says I am honest, insightful and in touch with my emotions

Mental/Physical Issues: No mental issues although I am crazy about life and I cope with that by singing and dancing. I have mild asthma that I deal with by stopping and reminding myself to breathe. I have bad vision (only externally:)) so, I have contacts
Children: Only my puppy Josie, but I love children and am better at talking to them than to adults. Children complete every community and I think everyone in the community should be a part of raising them
Living with Animals: I love animals, my best friends happen to be dogs and humans
As a Couple: B and I are a monogamous couple that have been together for almost five years, now married. We deal with conflict by arguing, taking time out to think, coming back and discussing our feelings and how to deal with it in the future
