It is hard to believe that I actually survived my two years living in Residence!! It took me a rather long time to get used to the new environment and all the new routines when I first join the Residence ... signing out every time I leave/escape boarding, room checks, eating dinner at 5:30 p.m., tracking sheets, "dressing up" for formal dinner/brunch, fun "fire drills", and being called the evil one even though I am NOT evil!! Life in boarding was not as easy as I though until ... I got to know the people (boarders and Res. Dons) better, until I started joining some wicked weekend activities, until I got use to being call the evil one, and until I started calling people evil ones (#1 survival tip!!)!! Even though I wanted nothing more than being able to leave during the first few months at BSS, I am glad that I stayed coz being a BSS boarder is A LOT OF FUN and that it is possible to survive!!
Big thanx to all the Residence Staff for taking care of me during the two year in BSS. You guys are the greatest (and evilest!!) people I've ever met!! To Tina and Lou (my 1/2 roommates) and to Estela ... thanx for cheering me up during the tough time and being there for me all the time!! You guys rock my world!!
HUGS
AND KISSES to my boarding friends and buddies!!
