CHARACTERS
Sorry peeps, I'm doing basic HTML here because WINDOWS VISTA IS GAY AND I HATE THE WORLD. Anyway, on to characters. This covers ALL the characters showing up in FGS.
First, the Hell Characters: Hell is run by Satan and everything revolves around him. Hell is basically a vast, empty area full of fire and long hallways made of rock. The main creatures are the demons and demonic animals (the ones with red eyes) all of which Satan made. The main goal for the demons is to torture the humans and make their deaths miserable. The main rule of hell is that everyone must obey Satan and any mention of God or human affection will be poofed to dust and/or sent to the void. This is the worst punishment available since no one is actually alive. Any questions?
This is Satan. He is the polar opposite of God and represents all that is bad and unholy. Satan wishes for all humans to die and be tortured for the rest of eternity. He may want to take over Earth, but he would only do so to piss off God. Currently, Earth is protected by God and he has no way of taking over.
Death: Originally, Death was a neutral party. But Death was never fond of humans; in fact he hates them, so he decided to join up with Satan and only lead humans to the dark side. All he really does is lead the dead souls to the gates of Hell and then he lets the demons handle the rest. Most humans are brought to different torture rooms based on how bad they were in their lives. Unlike Satan, Death has a soft side and holds a lot of love in his bones. There is one creature he is particularly fond of...a half human, half demon lass..
Zoe: This is the one that death is fond of. Zoe was born from an evil soul of a mother and the most powerful demon in hell. She had a rough time as a baby since her mother didn't want anything to do with her and her father wound up going insane. Death happened to find Zoe, alone and crying, near the gates of hell one day and decided to take care of the little mutant. Since Death has some human characteristics, Zoe was taught to be somewhat understanding and considerate. Death taught her about love and Earth and how humans act. Zoe is now an adolescent, and of course, not quite sure of herself or what powers she holds. She wants to belong somewhere since hell has no other half human/half demon creatures. Unfortunately, Satan uses her quite often to get some things done since she is so naive. Oh, and she has a nasty temper. I wouldn't want to get on her bad side.
Little Frank the bat is a poor creature that wound up in hell. Frank has a mysterious past..what did he do in his life that was so terrible? His memory is splotchy and, like Zoe, wants to belong somewhere too. He somehow managed to escape Satan's torture (he tortures Earth animals as well) and is now a fugitive of sorts. By the way, animals are free to talk in hell.
Blaze: This "bad boy" is the main heart throb of hell, I guess..according to..my readers. ;) Zoe has a bit of a crush on him, too. She sees the same lonliness she sees in herself. Blaze is a very lonely guy, and he likes it that way. He spends most of his time lighting matches, staring at fire, and coming up with some very emo lyrics. He is a DARK ANGEL, which is a rare thing in hell. Satan doesn't exactly know why they appear, but he assumes that God kicks them down to hell for spying or some other tricky reason. However, the dark angels never seem to know what their purpose is...
Kolos: This is Blaze's younger brother. When they were wee lads, Kolos decided he wanted to be as different as possible from his depressing brother. He dyed his hair and has a "glass half full" attitude. He tries to make his existence in hell as fun as possible. But recent developments have caused him to be less perky. Meeting Zoe has its ups and downs. And now he wonders "why is my halo broken, yo?"
This crazy couple is Zoe's parents, Lilith and Zephar. She's a pretty good mixture of the both of them, huh? Anyway, their tale is a tragic one..a tale that would only exist in hell. Lilith lived a bad life. She made some wrong choices and ended up committing suicide. Once Death guided her to the gates, she spotted Zephar. Since Lilith was always a bit of a trouble maker, she decided she'd escape a death filled with torture. She seduced Zephar with her womanly powers and ended up carrying his child. This was not part of her plan, in fact, no one thought it was possible! When little Zoe was born, Zephar grew weak with love and Lilith was still filled with hatred. She disappeared, never to be seen again. Zephar became insane with anger and rampaged through hell, searching for the woman who stole his heart. Eventually he tried to dethrown Satan in a fit of rage, and Satan banished him to the void. Will Zoe ever see her parents again?
And now, Earth. There's not too much to say about Earth. We all know what it's like, right? Right. Everything is boring and monotone and life creeps on day by day. Animals can't talk. Nothing really magical happens. But the people in our lives give us hope and inspiration. Love makes us forget the bad things in life.
It's a me, the artist! You can call me HapyCow, or Christiane if you want to be real personal. I'm really the only Earth character. And I only show up once in a while. And I think you can tell what kind of weird person I am just from reading this comic. ;)
Time for Heaven! Yaaay! Heaven is colorful and happy. The main boss is God, but don't go around calling him boss or sir or anything, he likes to keep things casual. Heaven is a real laid back place without much decor. It's mostly just clouds and various household items made of clouds. God doesn't have a fancy palace or anything. The angels exist to keep track of the humans and make sure God doesn't lose it. (running Earth is a tough job) God recently started hiring personal assistant angels. One can say that God might be starting to get "senile."
The big guy, God: God is a lot like everyone's crazy, fun-loving grandpa. He knows everything because He's been around for so long. He's achieved a lot in His life and mostly gets by on humor nowadays. He tried very hard to keep the humans happy, but since they all have free will, there's not too much He can do. God loves everything and everyone equally. He would never allow such things like racism, murder, any prejudice, or MONEY in heaven. What He does allow is individualism. God makes every human different and is quite proud of Himself for doing so.
Emilia is God's right hand angel. She's cute, innocent, sweet, and a generally perfect lass with a lot of questions. Without her, God may be a bit lost. She may not feel like she does much, but she keeps God on His toes.
Mother Nature: Well there's no question who she is, right? This mama is all about business. She's responsible for the plants, seasons, and weather on Earth. It's quite a job. Us humans all know when she's PMS-ing, huh? Mother can be a bit moody at times, plus who would want to get on her bad side anyway? She has a lot of power. Apparently, she has a thing for older men, too.
Oh Father Time. He's a silly old man. He's shaped and looks like a grandfather clock (pretty neat? I think so). Anytime time slows down, like those terrible moments during school or work, Father Time is the one to blame. He has the power to slow down and speed up time. He can also do funky things like pause time, rewind and fastforward, but humans don't usually experience those things. He's often cranky but has a real affectionate side that only his wife sees. Mother Nature and Father Time have stayed together for centuries and are still going strong!
Gabe: by the looks of him, you can tell he's....an idiot. Gabe is a narcissist. He's not the type of angel you'd be friends with. (more on him later..he hasn't really shown up yet!)
