FeedingYour Hamster
A hamster's diet is based mostly on fruits, vegetables, and seeds, however they do enjoy other types of food. It is suggested that you feed your hamster the commercially blended hamster food.  This contains vitamins and minerals that your hamster needs. Some brands of hamster food your hamster might prefer over others. My hamster likes the Bonanza food. If your hamster likes corn and sunflower seeds, you should buy a blend of hamster food that contains mostly that, but other items of food also. It all depends on what your hamster likes.
You can also feed your hamster assorted treats. I recomend carrots, celery, and raw potato because my hamster loves them. You can also buy commercially packaged hamster treats, such as cheese wedges, or yogurt drops. I also recomend the yogurt drops. they are sweet, and have vitamins.
I wouldn't recommend feeding your hamster meat or eggs, as it might make them more aggressive. The same thing goes for live food. I also wouldn't recommend feeding your hamster any foods that are very soft, like banannas or grapes. Just make sure that whatever treats you do give your hamster, don't leave it in their cage for too long as it might spoil.
You should also make sure that your hamster always has fresh water.
