Cages
There are many different varieties of hamster cages. The most popular ones and im my opinion the nicest to look at are the cages with the rainbow colored tubes. This sort of cage is great for Dwarf hamsters. Syrian hamsters might gt stuck in the tubes, so I wouldn't recommend using these cages for them. A down side to these cages is that they are a real pain in the neck to clean. Another type of cage is the wire cage. If you have a dwarf hamster, you might want to get a mouse wire cage, because the bars are closer together than in a regular hamster cage. You can also use an aquarium tank for your hamster. In my opinion, they are the cleanest cage variety. If you are planning on using one for your hamster, make sure that the cover is a screen cover to promote good ventilation. |
