~Thursday; March 1, 2007 ~ First OBGYN visit. Mama received some free samples, pamphlets and baby related magazines. She had a pelvic exam and received scripts to get preliminary blood work and her first ultrasound.
~Saturday; March 3, 2007 ~ Mama got the blood work done in the AM and ultrasound in the mid-afternoon. The ultra sound revealed that baby is in a comfy place and mama got to hear baby's heartbeat for the very first time!!
~Monday; March 5, 2007 ~ Mama's Progesterone levels came back low from the blood work. The OBGYN called in a script for her at the pharmacy. Mama's taking 1 progesterone pill nightly (at least until baby is 10 weeks old). Tuesday marks the beginning of baby's 6th week (halfway through the 1st trimester).
~Tuesday; March 27, 2007 ~ Prenatal Appointment ~ baby's heartrate is 160 bpm on the doppler (doctor said "perfect"). Baby also "graduated" from embryo to fetus.
~Monday; April 16, 2007 ~ UltraSound, Level 1 ~ baby's heartrate is 165 bpm on the ultrasound device. Baby measures 2.5" CRL (crown to rump) - measures where s/he should given the due date. Click here to view ultrasound pics. The results came back; the baby is within range for all measurements taken including preliminary neuro tube defects.
~Tuesday; April 24, 2007 ~ Prenatal Appointment ~ baby's heartrate is 160 bpm on the doppler
~Tuesday; May 1, 2007 ~ Second Trimester
~Tuesday; May 22, 2007 ~ Prenatal Appointment ~ Was supposed to have Glucose test done. OBGYN gave slip to get it done on Saturday instead. Heart rate strong and uterus measures where it should given date.
~Tuesday; June 5, 2007 ~ OBGYN office called late in the evening to notify mama that she has gestational diabetes.
~Monday; June 11, 2007 ~ Ultrasound, Level 2 ~ All measurements show a healthy baby. Click here to view ultrasound pics.

Mama first felt Jess move just a day after the Ultrasound!!
~Tuesday; June 19, 2007 ~ Prenatal Appointment ~ Jessica is a healthy baby per the Ultrasound and maternal serum test (APB?) done on May 26th.
~Tuesday; July 3, 2007 ~ Prenatal Appointment ~ Jessica's heart rate has dropped to around 150 bpm.
~Thursday; July 12, 2007 ~ Prenatal Appointment ~ Mama's feet swelled today. The OBGYN checked to make sure Mama didn't have preeclampsia. Everything is fine; mama has perfect blood pressure (no preeclampsia). The OBGYN office told mama she should keep her feet elevated and to eat diuretic foods to alleviate the water retention. The OBGYN listened to Jessica's heart rate and measured mama's belly to make sure everything was normal. Everything was great. Jessica has great aim; she kicked the part of the doppler machine touching mama's belly fairly hard (mama felt sore for at least a day afterwards in the spot where Jess kicked the dopler).
~Note: Weekly Ultrasounds and OBGYN apointments due to Gestational Diabetes - OBGYN apointments to check mama's blood pressure, weight and listen to Jessica's heart on the doppler. Weekly ultrasounds to track Jessica's weight and development. There is possibility of inducement a week or more prior to OBGYN estimated due date of October 26, 2007 ~

~Monday; August 27, 2007 ~ Ultrasound ~ Jessica's estimated weight is 4 pounds and 2 ounces. Jessica wouldn't hold still for a pic.

~Monday; September 24, 2007 ~ Ultrasound ~ Jessica's estimated weight is just shy of 6 pounds. Jessica is still breach. Version (manually turning the baby around) was discussed.
~Tuesday; September 25, 2007 ~ Prenatal Appointment ~ It was discussed for the OBGYN office to make an appointment for a C-section somewhere in between October 16th and October 23rd. Appointment may not be known for 3-5 business days.
~Monday; October 1, 2007 ~ Ultrasound ~ Jessica's estimated weight is 5 pounds and 14 ounces.
~Monday; October 8, 2007 ~ Ultrasound ~ Jessica's estimated weight is 6 pounds and 15 ounces.
~Scheduled C-section on Thursday, October, 18, 2007~ (breach position)
