| Over the years I've taken quite a lot of shit from the Pompous Surfer God known as Chris(t) Carter. That last finale, for example, I'd really considered to be the final straw. Lost BOTH my guys, AND the shippers got to wallow in their own delusions. So being the good little protester I was, I managed to stay completely XF-free all season. And yet I just HAD to return last night to see "what happened after the big cliffhanger on LGM last year" NOTHING GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember Existence? I was THIS close to sending a VERY "colorfully worded" letter to CC like any other self-respecting member of SPAK, only to be stopped by an overwhelming feeling of sympathy, his latest endeavor (what was that show again?... Oh, yeah... THE LONE GUNMEN) having just been cancelled. So I'd evidently wasted quite a good deal of my valuable summer vacation trying to get this show renewed, only to find out that CC YOU BASTARD was just intending to KILL THEM OFF later on anyway. So now I propose a MASSIVE LETTER CAMPAIGN to be sent towards the Big Cheese of 1013 Himself. Of course it's too late to do anything of consequence this late, but it's always great to voice your opinion as an annoyed fan. | Okay, so it's been some time since the Day of Judgement (5-19-02), and I've started (operative word: started) to cool off a little... I'll be organizating the tirades by individual rant, as follows: WHY IN THE HELL even bother bringing back Spender with that DAMN SCARRING? It's so demeaning... you'd think being shot and consequentially used as a Consortium lab rat is enough of a blow to a character. Which brings me back to another point: Perhaps it isn't just coincidence that Chris (Owens, not the Evil One) has now portrayed TWO DEFORMED PEOPLE on here... Methinks there's some Chris Envy afoot over at The Powers that Be... CSM!!! He has NEVER been so pathetically portrayed as some simplistic one-dimensional "bad guy". That is just WRONG! Like Chris knew the only way to give the newbies and rabids some feeling of vindication and justice is to have a bad guy to symbolically kill. CSM was never a simply evil person. A very complex and disturbingly wise man, he is SO not one to go down like THAT. There was no character left in that hollowed shell of an archetype in the end there. If he's gonna have to die sooner or later, at least make it worthwhile, and just leave it where Krycek finally got HIS justice in Requiem. Which brings me to: ALEX! CHRIS DO YOU SERIOUSLY BELIEVE that a couple of minutes of screentime is going to make up for the fact that you KILLED OFF the guy, and all of us just WOULD GET OVER IT?? I have been a full-on Darkside Intellifinikrymulshipper since TRATB, and has all of that just gone to hell? Do you get off from SCREWING WITH OUR HEADS like that!? WHAT A FREAKING TEASE! The wounds from Existence had just finally started to heal, and THEN it comes out that everyone's back for the Big Finale. And I actually got all GIDDY and EXCITED this might actually be RESOLVED. So that's the lesson I learned from all this, never put up your hopes for ANYTHING. They'll just screw you over... FOX AND ALEX FOREVER!!!!!!! YOU CAN'T STOP ME!!
