I created these pages on AIDS out of many things, sadness: because every day I watch my friends lose their lives to this terrible virus. Anger: because not nearly enough is being done about it. Frustration: because it is constantly being blamed on the gay community.fear: When will this tragedy end? Will it ever? Desire: I want more people to be informed about this disease. Hope: I hope that people will be convicted in the things I write, to become more active for this cause. And finally, Need: Because we all need to step back and be grateful for the lives we have, positive or negative. And we need to join together as a community and live up to these expectations I set before you. I expect that we CAN and Will find a cure for this. I expect to raise MORE money this year than ever before to help this cause. I expect that you and your partner will be responsible for your actions. I expect that you will be touched by AIDS at one time or more in your life.
