| Saturday, August 31, 2002 The wedding plans are wrapping up! Jeff and I went and looked and picked out our flowers on Friday in Killeen. Jeff and I went Friday morning to get a couple pictures made for a wedding announcement picture for the newspaper and then drove to Killeen and met with Mom. We have our wedding bands purchased and we are ordering the wedding cake sometime this week or next. Mom said she has pretty much all the invitations done and ready to mail out to everyone! I am getting excited to get the big day here! One of Jeff�s brothers, Brett, stayed the night here last night. He is the yongest of the brothers and is a Senior this year in High school and Abilene High School was playing a football game at Texas Stadium here in Irving, TX at 5:00pm today. We both enjoyed seeing him. While he was here, Jeff, Brett and I went to Target to get sodas and dog food and we picked out the big bag of dog food but there wasn't a price tag. Brett and Jeff lifted the bag into the cart and we proceeded to find a scanner thing to find out how much it actually costed. Well, we found the scanner and as Brett lifted the bag for it to be read by the scanner, it slipped and hit the corner of the basket and all of a sudden the bag RIPS and dog food is all over the floor! It was so embarrassing but funny or I wouldn't be writing all about it! Jeff called on their curtesy phones to say that dog food was all over the floor and then they came to clean it up. We left the scene and finished looking in Target. Brett and I had fun shaking the basket to get more of the dog food out as we marked our trail of where we had been that night with dog food! I'm sure Target didn't like us too much last night. I can�t remember if I mentioned this, but I am helping with a Kindergarten class for Sunday school at our church. Jeff and I attend the First United Methodist Church in Coppell, TX and we both go to the same bible study and then I am helping teach a Sunday school class. The kids are really fun to be around because they tell you how it is and they keep it simple and fun! School started for me this past Tuesday. I am taking Economics 2301, Speech 1311, and PE 1164. After this semester I will have 4 classes left and should finish my Associates in Science in Business by Summer 1 of 2003. It�s taken a little longer with working full time but you have to pay the bills and the main thing is I will complete it! My GPA is right at a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. So pretty much a B average right now. I would like to have at least a 3.5 by the time I graduate because I could actually graduate with honors. Well, I need to read what we are teaching tomorrow in Sunday school. |

| Friday, September 13, 2002 Today I am going to take my first economics test. I am nervous but I have been spending some great time studying so I feel that I shouldn't be nervous. ....... Well, I think I did well on my test. I'm pretty sure I some of the bonus questions correct which should help my grade. I'll know by Tuesday what I got on the test. I started tonight working on Chapter 4 which is part of the next test. It talks about Supply and Demand. |
