flowing through my veins
like sitting on the shore
at the close of the day
watching the water play.
It knows its way around
It never goes off course
sliding by the rocks and trees
without remorse
Nature to the core.
Listening to the river
traveling downstream
providing nourishment
for the creatures of the sea...
There is peace.
Listening to the birds
flying overhead
singing happy songs
painstakingly making nests
for a place to lie their heads.
Feeling the wind blow
softly o'er my face
I know it's only about His love
and his wonderful grace
we cannot replace.
