FROM ONE MOOSE.... TO TWENTY MICE.

BY: G.P. WALKER

One big brown moose beside a creek

"Where’s my jumper" he does shriek

Two tigers they begin to prowl

But all they find is an old wet towel

Three lions decide to search the jungle

But they find shirts and bits of jumble

Four elephants look below their bunks

But can’t find a jumper in their trunks

Five fish swim down the oceans depths

But all they find is a womans dress

Six monkeys look up in the trees

But find just pants with holes in knees

Seven swallows fly and search the skies

But all they find are old school ties

Eight otters check the river bank

But find just a jacket that had sank

Nine swans over ponds they flew and flew

But only find an old red shoe

Ten chickens search the farmyard floor

But find just a ring by the barnyard door

Eleven cows inspect their field

But a glove is all their search did yield

Twelve worms all look beneath the ground

But a muddy hat was all they found

Thirteen dolphins search the sea

But return with just a rusty key

Fourteen camels scour the desert sand

But a turban is all that comes to hand

Fifteen rabbits all check their burrows

But stockings are all that they can furrow

Sixteen badgers search their lair

But find just an overcoat made of hair

Seventeen sheep search in their flocks

But find just a smelly pair of socks

Eighteen zebras search the plains

But find just a skirt as they seek in vain

Nineteen koalas look in the bush

But all they find is an old hair brush

Twenty mice all squeak and squeal

The mooses jumper they did steal!
