FROM ONE MOOSE.... TO TWENTY MICE.

BY: G.P. WALKER

One big brown moose is on the loose

Trying to find some orange juice.

Two tigers tag onto the trail

Not far behind are three small snails

Four falcons fly up in the sky

To find the juice from way up high

Five live monkeys swing through trees

On their backs ride six wee fleas

Seven lions run with pride

Eight zebras also break their stride

Nine rabbits hop ten kangaroos jump

Over eleven camels humps

Twelve elephants have joined the hunt

To smell the juice with long grey trunks

Thirteen skunks have made a stink

Now join the race to find the drink

Fourteen turkeys have gobbled food

And join the search in a thirsty mood

Fifteen ducklings paddle the lake

Below sixteen fishs’ tails shake

Seventeen dogs all join the hunt

Eighteen cats try to get in front

Nineteen tortoise trail behind

They might be last, but they don’t mind

Twenty mice need no excuse

They got there first, and have drunk the juice!
