| Summery: Danny Walker (Josh) and Rafe McCawley (Ben Affleck) grew up best friends. Both of them go into the U.S Army Air corps and are placed in Pearl Habour. Rafe falls in love with a nurse called Evelyn (Kate Beckinsale). But Rafe has already volunteered for the Royal British Airforce to support them in the fight againt Germany, so Rafe has to leave his love and his best friend behind. In England things are worse than Rafe expected. One day his plane is shot down and he lands in the Atlantic Ocean. Feeling sure that Rafe is dead Danny and Evelyn start a romantic relationship only to find that Rafe is still alive and was picked up by a French fishing boat. After Rafe returns Pearl Habour is attacked by the Japenese destroying nearly everything there. Meanwhile Evelyn discovers she is pregnent with Danny's child and tells Rafe. America pick themselves up and show that they cannot be beaten by returning an attack on Japan. Danny and Rafe go along for this attack and sadly Danny dies in the process when he is shot by a Japenese gunman. Rafe and Evelyn bring up the baby boy and call it Danny.
