Birth story...
We got to the hospital at 7:30 am for the elective c-section... and because it was my 4th, and knowing it could take longer, the other lady had hers first, which was a good thing..
We went into the op at about 11 am, I had part spinal and epidural as last time it took a while longer to stitch me up... Quinten was born at 11:36, Unfortunately my uterus tore downwards and I haemorraged, after about an hour they were able to "fix" my uterus, instead of me needing a hysterectomy, but Im unable to have any more children (If Id known that I wouldve enjoyed my last pregnancy a bit more!) we're disapointed we cant have any more, but we know were very lucky to have the wonderful healthy four children we do have :) and very fortunate everything went well and Quinten and I are great.
My recovery took a while longer than usual, but otherwise everything is great... and look at the precious baby I got out of it :)
Hes a quiet baby (so far) compared to my others, and doesnt cry much, hes breastfeeding quite well, we have had a few problems because of my flat nipples but hes doing very well considering! and I know that its a hurdle we can get over!
Dad and I were quite surprised... we were both expecting a girl! but the smile on dads face is huge! hes very proud to have a son, especially one who looks quite a lot like him.. (hopefully his hair doesnt fall out and go blonde like his big sisters did!)
Zach was over the moon to have a little brother.. when I rang to tell him you could literally hear him jumping up and down... Alyssa is very happy, especially as he doesnt cry as much as she thought he would, and once katelyn realised he wasnt going to bite her shes been very cute with him!
