| January 9th 2004 - 39 weeks tomorrow.. everything is going really smoothly.. saw the ob and managed to make my due date my c-section date! only 8 days to go! wow.. I could go into labour before then, Id like so, but I doubt it! My bump is tiny! everything else is great! baby is still breech, flipping between breech and head down, so must be a small baby to be flipping around at 39 weeks!! December 17th 35 1/2 weeks Well its been a few weeks since I wrote, and not much is happening, I know plenty is happening inside, but on the outside Im just getting bigger, though I dont look as bad as I did on the 28 week pic thank goodness (mustve been a bad hair day or something) Its supposed to be summer here, but its raining, something I shouldnt complain about considering its supposed to be really hot now. Ive been having a bit of protein spilling over, extra tests have shown all is fine and my bp has been around 100/50 so its not that! November 21st - 32 weeks tomorrow OMG I got photos back today and I look so big! and that was just my 28 week ones (my 31 1/2 week photo I took myself and its really blurry and hard to see. I dont mean big in a good way! I look really fat. I have gained almost 40 lbs already, in fact most of that was in the first 24 weeks according to my scales I havent gained anything since then! but I sure look fatter, couldve been because wed just got back from our first annervesary buffet dinner and Id been running around a lot (and ate my moneys worth too!), but either way I look horrendous (go on, have a look, its worth a good laugh.....) Baby has slowed down alot, moving alot more and less kicks.. November 9th - 30 weeks pregnant Had my midwives appointment today, baby is growing right on schedule I was exactly 30 cms at 30 weeks. Babys heart beat was around 140. Baby was sitting in a transverse footling breech postition, which means head up, on an angle with one foot hanging down! Doesnt really bother me if baby stays breech, its much nicer this way! no pelvic pain! October 26th - 28 weeks pregnant Its our wedding annervesary today, we went out for a lovely buffet meal, the kids loved it. Midwife came today, babys heart beat was around 140 and I was measuring exactly 28 weeks which is most unusal I usually measure behind, I hope that doesnt mean a big baby, could be because Im breech.. my iron levels came back at *3* yet I feel fantastic still doing a few hours walking everyday, though if you look at my belly, Im not really HUGE or anything yet :) Saturday 2nd October - 25 weeks Feeling baby move a lot more now, only started really feeling baby a few weeks ago... which is quite late, but better late than never.. I havent had any morning sickness in a few days... knock on wood! Friday 27th August - almost 20 weeks We have however come up with a girls name! If it is a girl (which I think it is) she will be called Gemma Caroline (the caroline is after our midwife who retires from midwifery next year) Unless graham changes his mind again! I STILL have morning sickness when will it bugger off!! Thursday 26th August - 19 1/2 weeks Finally feeling baby kicking!! all down low, baby must be breech! Saturday 21st August - 19 weeks Had our ultrasound today, and found out my placenta is anterior, which explains the lack of movement from baby. Baby measured right on for dates (as they always do, even Zach the heffalump (10 pds 11) measured right on at 20 weeks!) We had trouble measuring things due to babys position, so we went on a walk and came back to find baby had done a complete flip but still was in the same position!! so we were able to finally get all the measurements but not find out babys gender! So now well never really know whos in there till the big day! August 4th - 16 1/2 weeks Midwife came today, my uterus is measuring only 12 cms but baby is fine, heartbeat was 150 or so, and we have an ultrasound for the 21st of August. Morning sickness is gawd awful, how long is it going to last? July 7th about - 12 1/2 weeks Had another ultrasound today, baby is fine thank goodness.. no reason for the bleeding at all.. Baby was moving around inside like a mad hatter... I cant feel any of it! The heart was beating away happily at around 140 bpm. It looked like it might be a boy, but at this stage its very early and only about 70% correct, as it could be swollen labia of a girl we saw.. the ultrasounder said it looked like a boy but also said she really couldnt say this early, so well have to wait till the next scan for confirmation... but Im just so glad to see baby is ok! July 6th - 12 1/2 weeks Caroline the midwife came today, and after proding and pushing for 1/2 hour she couldnt find the heartbeat so Ive made an appointment to have an ultrasound tomorrow.. I wish I could feel something in there then I wouldnt be so worried! Ive still had a bit of spotting. What a stressful pregnancy this has been already! Friday June 4th - 8 weeks We had an ultrasound yesterday and there is just one baby, and all is fine, they cant see any reason for the bleeding at all! which is good, but then where is it coming from!? we saw the little heart beating away happily so that was a load off my mind! It hasnt really sunk in yet that Im pregnant! May 31st - 7 weeks Still bleeding, been bleeding for over a week now.. :( My HCG levels came back, on monday they were 31,375 and on wednesday they were 39,375. Im glad weve finished moving so I can try and relax, that cant have helped with the bleeding. Oh the sickness has started, how awful.. I feel like Ive been hit by a truck! May 16th almost - 5 weeks Ive been spotting a bit already my hcg levels at 18 DPO were 1113 and 2 days later they were 2172 so theyve gone up alright. I may have to have an ultrasound if the bleeding doesnt stop.. its been pain free bleeding so that makes me feel a bit better but still, its scary spotting and bleeding. May 9th 2004 IM PREGNANT!! I am about 4 weeks today, I didnt really feel pregnant, no signs or anything - yet! I feel completely normal! I am due according to my LMP on the 17th of January 2005 that seems like miles away!! Weve already got a boys name, what Katelyn was going to be if she was a boy, Quinten Cameron... but well have to come up with a girls name! |
