| I'll have what she's having... Ever said to yourself or perhaps someone else.. � I am the only person going through this� or.. � No one can possibly know what I am going through�? I am sure many of you have, I know I have done in the past. Have you also heard the saying, �There is nothing new under the sun�? In reality it is true. It is part of life to go through difficult challenges through out our life cycle, but as the saying goes, there is nothing new. In other words it has happened to others, and therefor they know what you are going through. Now the circumstances surrounding what you are going through maybe different, but human challenges are very common. And we can rest in the comfort that there are others out there that know how difficult it can be at times. This is where I want to encourage you to tell your story!! We all have one and never try and minimise it to anything. It is not a �fairy tale�, but it is a �once upon a time�. It is the glory of Gods grace working in and through your life and we overcome by the word of our testimony. Your story� your lifes events, can and will touch countless peoples lives as you reach out and tell it!! You may think.. �oh, I am just your average joe� But it is not true, you are a very special and unique person, whos life has been planned out by the creator of the universe!! I can say through my own experience, that in sharing my story with others and how I have overcome and got through some of my most difficult times, it has encouraged me to take the next step and face what ever is next in my journey. We are to live our lives with others looking on saying, �I�ll have what she is having�!! That is not saying that you need to �fake it�, you want to aim for the genuine experience in God. You want to reach new heights, new limits and experiences in your relationship with God, and in doing that, you will have people saying �I�LL HAVE WHAT SHE IS HAVING� A verse that the Lord gave me for my youth is found in Matthew, and it says, �Let your life so shine before men that they may see your good works and praise the Lord� And another one, that is found in 1 Timothy, � be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity�. Now I know that when you are facing some of your most darkest times, it is hard to smile or be happy and therefor it is hard to let your light shine and be an example in those ways, but know, that as you are born again in Christ, that you have overcome!!! Not only because Christ has already defeat it all for us already, but because we overcome through the word of our testimony. So tell it like it is, you may not be ready to tell every bit of your once upon a time story, but parts of it is a start and you never know what God is going to do with it!! So be strong, be of good courage and BE encouraged!! And live a life that has other saying, �I�LL HAVE WHAT SHE IS HAVING� |
