Lord Aramoro,

                I hope all finds you well.  I wish to thank you for your help with Toturi.  Although the former Akodo should be our enemy, he is one of the keys to Rokugan's salvation.  Our deceased Lord Shoju and Togashi Yokuni both believed he would have a role to play in the upcoming madness.  This business with the second Day of Thunder can only bring us to victory.  If the prophecy is true, which I believe it is, as did Shoju-sama, and the thunders succeed, then the Scorpion will have been instrumental in bringing about the salvation of Rokugan and those who saved Rokugan would owe us a great debt.  If they fail, we will have set our enemies against each other and the Emperor, weakening all of them and allowing for our return to power.   In either case my actions will help preserve our clan. 

Much as I long to rejoin our family and walk amongst the fields of our lands again, I must continue on this quest, as was Shoju-sama's wish.  The road will be long and hard and I must ask of you a small favor.  I trust our network of spies and assassins is in place as ever.  If they could help bring me news of the goings on in the empire I would be most appreciative.
