licence  1-3 sail or own merchant ship (1), travel freely (1), preach a foreign religion (2), start your own ryu (2), start your own gang (3)
membership  1-10 call on the membership of a group (you pick), 10 being Emporer
renown  1-10 at 3 most local people of your class know you.  At 6 you are known far and wide in your class.  At 9 most people know you everywhere.
wealth  1-10 At 1you are middle class, 2 = uppermiddle, 3= well-todo, 4=very well off, 5=average daimyo, 6=rich, 7=rich merchant, 8=wealthy diamyo, 9=filthy rich, 10=Emporer
